Getting a first 2B bike

Hello brothers and sisters,

I have recently gotten by 2B license finally since enrolling in July 2020. Anyone has any recommendations for motorbike shops in the North area? And also any tips when purchasing a bike from bike shop so that I won't kena chop carrot by the shop?

motorbike shops in the north? - Unknown for me cuz I dun try out other bike shops.. haha..

But tips for purchasing bike? Get a season biker to go down and view your bike with you.. always remember, 2 pairs of eyes is better than 1.. making sure no leakage, no major scratches. and etc etc.

all functions is supposed to work as it is. 

no knocking sound from engine.. find another similar bike that you are buying to compare.

COE is 9.5k now....dun think it is worth to get a new bike now....

new bikes is always not worth it in Singapore.. take out from bike shop, you wan to sell back the next day, you straight away lose at least 5k.

With MB COEs at an all time high... even prices of 2nd hand bikes will be raised. @E.O., if you intend to upgrade, best to buy 2nd hand to tide thru... of coz nothing beats the joy of a new bike. All the best!

But i’ve also heard that some shops will charge a higher annual interest for 2nd bikes, and the amount to pay becomes almost the same as buying a brand new bike

won't be able to comment on this as I didn't go around checking... knew what I was looking for so went straight for it the day after I got my licence!

check for any hidden fees and admin charges

now COE too scary cannot go straight for it hahahaha
