Looking to get my 2b licence.

Just saw the updated percentage pass from TP website- and ssdc is now the lowest passing percentage between all the 3 schools.

56.91% first time pass, compared to 70.13% CDC, 59.37% BBDC first time pass.

Also only 1295 students from ssdc were sent, compared to 2k+ students from other centres. i live closest to admiratly so thats where i think its most convenient. but the numbers are not encouraging.

What could possibly be the reasons for SSDC having

1. The relatively low passing rate?

2. The low TP participation rate?

Does it just mean that SSDC has low demand = more lesson slots? or something i am not getting. haha.

based on this it seems CDC is the best place to go? im looking to finish fast and get bike already. money is no issue, just time.

hope to hear your thoughts!

IMO just go to SSDC since it near you. My time when taking 2b lessons, CDC is always fully booked and then SSDC got plenty of lessons. Just do your best during your TP. dont bother about the passing stats.

prefer ssdc circuit where you can practice many many times for example the fig 8 when you are on that lesson.

'Fast' is relative. The program is structured so there a limit to how 'fast' you can go especially since time is the challenge for you. Since time is a major consideration, I suggest you go to the one nearest to you. Will be easier (logistically) and should allow you to go whenever there are slots (aka faster).

i feel that you should just go to the nearest centre near you. for me i will start to dread the journey to and fro if i were to travel for close to an hour to reach the driving centre, and then probably another hour to get home. i have friends who took their class 2B at CDC and gotten their license within 6 mths, however that was pre-covid. Not sure how the situation is right now for CDC & BBDC, but i got my 2B license last month at SSDC, and i would say slot availability for lesson 1-3 will be more limited bcos more learners will be repeating those lessons. Class-size is also reduced due to safe-distancing measures.

IMO regardless of the passing rate for each school, ultimately it is how you perform on the day itself. If you can go through all the circuit obstacles, and prove to the testers that u can ride safely and confidently, i dont think there is any reason that the testers would fail you.

I just pass my 2B on the 2nd Dec 2021 at SSDC.

The passing rate on that day was 38%..... Started with 40 student. Almost half failed the circuit test.

Finally only 15 went for highway...
