Hi everyone,

Did a search and the info that I'm looking for is not avail. Hence, reaching out to the experienced ones for inputs. I'm keen to know the total duration of the 2A test conducted @ BBDC.

From my booking, the test start time is 0815hrs. I'm would like to know by what time did you complete the test and associated admin work (if any). The reason for my asking is that I've got a work meeting scheduled for later in the day and would like to estimate my availbility.

When I took my 2B, what I had estimated to be a 1/2 day affair, took almost the whole day to complete. Just want to know in advance this time around for better planning. Thanks in advance for your experience sharing.

unsure about BBDC, but CDC did mentioned that at least 2pm.. and drag abit here and there until 2pm, best not to have any planning for that day since it's your license date.. :)

Kindly read thru at least the intro section first before decide to post any comments.... thanks...

For pre-pandmic,  it could get license before noon.  For a definite answer,  just check with instructor directly.

Passed my Class 2A at BBDC earlier last Wednesday (13/04/2022) :)

Here is the rough sequence of events:

0730-0745hrs - Registration

0745-0815hrs - Warm-up

0815-0840hrs - Briefing by BBDC instructors

0840-0850hrs - Short break

0850-0900hrs - I/C & Face-to-face check by TP invigilators

0900-0915hrs - Bike handling by Class 2 riders

0915-1050?hrs - Actual Practical test

1050-1130hrs - Break/Tabulation of result

1130-1200hrs - Release of result (those who didn't make it will be called out)

By 1230++hrs, you should be free to leave.. just FYI, there were a total of 24 candidates (excluding 1 Class 2 absentee) during my TP test and if I remember correctly, the passing ratio for Class 2 and 2A is 5/8 and 12-13/16. For those taking your test, some small tips are to perform your checks VERY carefully and NOT commit any IF. My demerit points (16) are all from wobbling/safety checks (all from Checkpoint 3 & 5) and none from courses. Also, pray hard that the TP is feeling lenient that day and grant you the coveted 18 demerit points.

p.s. If you are kiasu like me who booked additional RVs in case I fail, you may face risk of not being able to sell the slots. Should that happen, either you forfeit the money or you can just head down to enjoy another session of circuit fun before your next/final upgrade - only for 2A riders! 🤩
