BBDC got alot slots but the course structure is very scattered and they are 1.5hours lessons plus personally, I felt not easy to pass - I doubt 4 months is do-able.

Hmmm... This is why I didn't sign up for my 2B with CDC even though CDC is closest to my home amongst the 3 driving centres. When I was enquiring, I asked each centre what is the approximated time taken to complete the 2B course - considering that I already have my Class3, so no need to take BTT. CDC told me 8 months. SSDC told me 6 months. BBDC told me 4 months. No prize for guessing which centre I'm doing my 2B with now.

In fact, when I enquired at CDC, after seeing my shocked face, the customer service girl actually hinted to me to try asking other centres - as they may be faster.

Haha.. I don't know... I'll let you know when it happens (or not).... But it's so far so good for me. Although I can't block book practical lessons in BBDC, but the next available practical lesson is generally not very far away. Once, I had to repeat a particular lesson, and since there was an available slot at a later time on the very same day, I actually went for it. And because the earlier lesson was was just a few hours earlier and still very fresh in my mind, the 2nd round felt easier for me.

I was from BBDC, then switched to SSDC. BBDC - 1.5hours, SSDC - 2hours.

Curious - what made you switch from BBDC to SSDC?

Most impt date to take note is RTT(2 months plus) and tp test date(1month plus).

So basically within the 2 months plus,

u just need to complete your first 4 theory lessons then 11 practical lessons, 2 PPL lessons(can register immediately after 4.02)

After RTT pass, book TP immediately which take a month plus.

In this one month, u just need to complete your 3 more practical.

But then, not easy to pass is subjective lor and really must depend on instructors. There are times which I think I did not do so good but managed to pass first time. There are also times which I think I did okay but still fail the first time.

Haha! I can totally concur that! In fact, there was a particular lesson i thought i did pretty okay, but i think the instructor was in a bad mood that day. So out of 7 students, only 1 passed (I was amongst the 6 who failed). Then, there was an opened slot on the very same day a few hours later. So i went for that. I think i did slightly worse in the 2nd session as I was rather tired by then. But surprisingly, the instructor passed me.

But i guess with everything subjective in life, really got to see heng suay one.

Ok... I think we're a little off-topic here. Why are we even discussing about BBDC and SSDC in a CDC thread? Hahah..

Thanks for enlightening me. I think I might be checking too late. I tend to check blind spot about 0.01 sec before i change lane and i only check when I'm going through the bend. Next CR I will ask the instructors their expectations and correct technique. You guys are great!

On the map in the bike shed they have marked where to check blind spot.

Sure can pass 1 time for RTT. Just go for the trial test and finish all the tests.

Most RTT questions are from there.

SSDC RTT is 12 Nov 2015. Just saying.

Actually, I realised that the BTT, RTT test dates are available on all the learning centres' websites. No need to be member / student also can check.
