If you are lucky and smart in your practical lessons booking, within 6 months and needn't renew PDL in passing TP. But, I was blur 1st-time rider, took me 9-months & passed TP on 2nd attempt. In order not to go through the same "ignorant mistakes" I made because of lessons bookings.

If you do it smartly, one week you can book 3 sessions of the same lesson. Make full use the allowed 18 cancellations - I used only 2 cancellations, haizz! If you book 3 sessions in a week, but you pass on the 1st or 2nd booking, cancel the 3rd booking. Then book 3 lessons again for the next lesson and so on.....

Especially L1 to L4 - book 3 sessions of same lesson at one time, don't wait until you can't "passed" that lesson then book again. Always must have at least 1 or 2 bookings of the current lesson to spare. Otherwise, when you fail one lesson and need to repeat, you got to wait sometimes 2 weeks for a session to repeat.

But, if you chiong, by doing 2 sessions a day, you will feel fatique and tired. Maybe one session in morning and one in late evening, if you have the time.

L5 is not a "lesson", it is an circuit evaluation (test) for L1 to L4, one chance only, must passed before can proceed to Road riding lessons - L6 & L7. Then when ready, L8 is the preparation for TP test, must pass then can book TP-Test which is about 8-10 weeks away.

At the meantime, book lots of Circuit revisions and some Road revisions (which includes Circuit) to hone your riding skill in preparation for your TP-test. Good Luck!

Well said. i did multi booking when i failed my 1st evaluation at practical 5, basically i dragging my feet on Prac 1 to 4. Meaning 1 lesson per week. After 1st time fail at Prac 5. I did multi booking in a week. Eg, Mon, Wed, Friday or Sat or Sun. Give about 24 hrs time gap in case u cant cancel the lesson if you pass.

So, i took 6mth to get my license. and, i am quite lucky for 1st time pass TP. but, i renew my PDL on TP date. LOL!.

I enrolled in SSDC in early Jan and currently waiting for my first TP test in mid Jul.

Along the way, I managed to complete all my theory and defensive lessons over 3 weekends in Jan and took my RTT in March. But I was slowed down as I repeated my lesson 2 for quite a numbers of times, stop a week due to overseas holidays and rest another week due to injury sustained during my ebrake practical. Most of my circuit practical required 3 sessions and I completed my circuit evaluation on my 3rd attempts. Then, I caught up the pace again during all my road practical with one session each.

Currently, I attended Road Revision weekly and nearer to my TP test, twice weekly; hoping I can pass on my first attempt and need not renew my PDL since my it expires 2 days after the test date.

I think it is possible to complete the course within the 5-6 months period with the pass on first TP attempt.

depends on person, for me even tho i passed tp on first attempt, i took around 8months cause i drag very long between each lesson.

One buddy I met at the centre took 4 months, spent 800.

I needed 6.5 months, spent 1.2k.

But we both passed together on first attempt. Yay

Now we gone back to our separate ways. But we will reunite soon to take class 2a together!

For now current 2B if every lesson 1 or 2 times cleared, at least 5 to 6months plus waiting 2 months for TP booking date.

I would say 4 months is average. Just remember to book your TP

yeah 4 months is impossible now. may be 1-2 years ago possible. u need to wait 2 months for rtt and another 2 months for tp. thats already 4 months waiting

Took 4.5 months at BBDC, passed mid June. Could have been a bit faster, but delayed taking theory by 2 weeks coz wasn't paying attention to the flow of syllabus at that time. But 4 months can be done!

I purposely came to check this thread hahahaha cause I thought I totally overspent, $1,450 (according to my SSDC account lol) not including my 2 PDL and all the other extra **** money. Anw I enrolled in April (after I stupidly took BTT as a private candidate cause I didn't know we must enroll and go for theory classes for bike ~_~) and just passed it 2 days back thankfully on 1st try. 7 months, whereas those people who passed along w me told me they 4 months only T^T

Thanks to the haze, they stopped classes for 1mth plus so I'm just going to blame on that and pretend I'm not so slow after all. lol!

But good point Simsci, always good to spam lesson by booking more and cancel if pass. I was one of the stupid few who went lesson 1 time a week until I pass lesson 7 then realise I can do that _|_ lol
