I personally rode this GTV125 for a few weeks.

The pickup and the smoothness of the 125 engine did catch me by pleasure surprise. It is so much smoother then the LX150 and the ET8 that I have rode before.

 

And the tech specs did not pull our legs by stating the GTV125 has more horsepower then the LX125...I actually felt the power difference.

 

There are simply nothing really bad i could say about this vintage beauty, the only thing is price. Unless you are have a deep affection for Vintage, you will not be willing to fork out about close to a 5-figure price for a 125cc scooter.

but Vespa will always be a Vespa, if you will take good care of the scooter, the depreciation of this scooter is minimal as the demand for 2nd hand Vespa is always at the heights.

 

What my knowledge on Piaggio with GTV is that eventually GTV will be coming in only 125cc and in very limited quantities. They have already stopped ordering the GTV250ie and is only selling the remaining stock.
