hi guys.just gotten myself a vespa gt200.

 

i realised everytime i release my hands off the handle bar...

 

the handle bar will vibrate pretty much and the bike usually tend to go move down to the right (almost like making a right turn). is this normal?

 

i changed my wheel bearings. tightened the steering cone . slightly better but the bike tends to move right if i let go on free roll.

 

no accident on this bike before.

i realised everytime i release my hands off the handle bar...

 

the handle bar will vibrate pretty much and the bike usually tend to go move down to the right (almost like making a right turn). is this normal?

 

i changed my wheel bearings. tightened the steering cone . slightly better but the bike tends to move right if i let go on free roll.

 

no accident on this bike before.

What i found out is there are a couple of shops there but they're not specialized, u need to go different places for different items, quite troublesome...

Most of them vintage. The funny thing is that while we're trying to make our px into supers/sprints, they're making their sprints into px's. if only we can just swap sscooters.....

haha, u mean u ride with hands off your handle bars is it? i sometimes do it and yes the handle bars would vibrate quite violently. when i did it with my previous scrambler, it would not.

 

i think it has to do with the natural resistance because of the frontal design. like the front's rather broad and thus high resistance from onrushing winds. i doubt it's any problem with the steering.

 

but if urs is shaky even when u put your hands on both bars, then i think u better tell ur mechanic.
