ET8 and LX150 (carb version) are very low maintenance bike. Air-cool and kick starter available. You would have much problems in term of maintenance.

The only thing u need to get used and be careful about is, due to the small wheel size and high cg, it can be a bit wobbly in the beginning as it take a while to get use to.

Also, gotta be abit careful on raining days. Small wheel, less friction, less contact, high chance of fish tail.

have a qn guys, would it be a squeezy if you carry a backpack with a pillion behind

Yes, it wil be squeezy. Unless its really a small backpack or a small pillion...

at wad mileage will ya guys change ur scooter's belt?? and how much?

Your belt together with some other parts, is usually changed at every major servicing points. 12,000-15,000 km then 30,000 km so and so forth. I'm riding a GTV125, paid $150 at sunshine to get my major servicing done. Quite reasonable IMO.

I am thinking of getting an aftermarket exhaust pipe for my GTV 125. Any of you here have any experience or information on this? Brand, where, how much, legal?

After some searching, I found 2:-

Leovince 4road: http://www.leovince.com/en/products/leovince/exhaust-systems/scoot/4road

Leovince vintage: http://www.leovince.com/en/products/leovince/exhaust-systems/scoot/vintage

But this is only available online and its definitely not LTA approved rite?

Hi Guys, I'll be getting my first Vespa (GTS 300) these few days... any recommendation where to put the IU reader? Looks rather ugly near the mirror... appreciate it!

yah. install a rear box (tong aik have ready stock), or rear/front rack, then u can put it and tie it up there.

some people put it at the front fender, at the front shock. but imho, if your bike fall (touch wood), your IU will have to be changed too. I used to put it on my GT200, and I often forget to take out my cashcard...

else, u can try to put it inside the glove compartment or even put it inside your horn cover if u subscribe to the credit card payment thingy.
