nowadays i see less and less of pgms. that day when i went to PG, we saw the singpore series race. a G1 can manage 1.45 per lap and to my surpride the top PGM can manage 1.50 per lap!!! jus shows that this bike is really a track tool for its cc. but of cse the whole race is 13 lar so 5 sec per lap means...

erm... comparing ZXR400 n RVF... ZXR400 does have a higher top speed... so i dont get yr point... :confused:

 

not really ... cos they always say RVF fastest... i also personally dun agreed.. but i love ZX4 once i set my sight on it.. :smile:

 

RVF dun mean mean to me.. so is CBR n Gixer..... :confused:

well, as the polls show, RVF is the most popular bike so far. Chris meant that it's becos it's fast. If it's not, he wonders if it will show the same results. Compredae??

NSR250 uses HRC card. There are a few different kinda HRC cards, but I do not know the details which card is for what kinda performance. Just got to learnt abit of kuching kurak of NSR250 from a previous campmate who ride one that time.

 

It was my dream bike at that time. Well, it was ridden by Andy Lau ma. But I look myself at the mirror and realise something, so I went for a super4.... ahahhaaha... just kidding la. That time no money to get one :p

 

Well HRC cards come in diff model no. ie. 010,020 and 030 the 1st 2 are actually wat we will call wheather cards meant for diff road conditions. they are also known as leaded fuel cards as for the 030(unleaded) its the only aftermarket card that can be found on the market now.. but of coz with all these cards u will also need a matching CDI(PGM unit). Stock cards know as NSR cards have known to have power restrictions on the bike..(dunno y honda wants top do tht also... :? ) Yes it is a very expensive bike to maintain sometimes think already hard pain.. but well if you love your bike you'll do anything to keep it somehow(for me at least)...

my favorite 2a bike will be pgm4(honda nsr 250 MC28)..heard the acc is very fierce and is better than any other 2a bike and somemore it uses a smartcard..hehe that is very unique leh..

 

One thing to note is if (touchwood) the ignition is faulty, the repair costs is gonna cost you a bomb. As told by my mechanic. And I noticed that the power consumption is quite high due to the electronics. My friend's PGM4 uses big fuses and most of them are 15 or 30 amp...

 

YEs that is very true...as im having this headache now... no accident oso spoil damm "sway" lost for words... it really cost a bomb as i need $1600 to buy that 1 single CDI //me wanna faintz... everything on the bike must be kept at tip-top condition..now awaiting for my HRC unit + card to be mounted on...with alittle re-wiring...VOILA! i'll be on the road again...now have to ride my phantom temp everyday....Wish me luck brudders!...
