Most raincoats can keep your clothes dry . Water seeps in usually at the collar area bcoz it is always uncomfortable or not fully possible to seal the collar / neck area where the water enters .

 

The thing i hate about riding in the rain is actually my shoes getting wet coz the

combined stink of my soaked socks and wet shoes will drive my colleagues far far away from me.

Juz came back from HL after giving my bike a thorugh wash in the rain .

 

The price of the panniers is $2150 . Touring windscreen is $220 . Fairing nvr ask(naked bike put fairing 4 wat) .

 

The Ermax windscreen at motorworld not worth the buy , might as well fork out more $ to get the Yamaha one . Put the ermax one like "tiong: bike liao .

 

Anyway , thanx to Bigman & moka who went thru soak & wet wif me today . Maybe should get ur H&B offer since can make arrangements . :smile:

But seeing the whole bike kitted out wif the accessories made the bike look more appealing , but when ur eyes move to the FJR next to it , the feeling is gone .

 

The FZ1 looks like the smaller bro of the FJR .

thanks for the info...

 

i have seem someone with the H&B side panniers already... the brackets are not so nicely fitted onto the bike... maybe i would visit HL to see how the mounting of their pannier.. to see if it is really worth that $1k more...

 

so far only motorworld have the ermax windshield right... anywhere else have aftermarket wieldshield & headlight protector?

 

concern for the yamaha touring wieldshield is it seems too tall already... if going at speed above 200km/h, dunno if stable or not... someone else told me that windshield too tall will cos handlebar to vibrate at high speed...
