If I'm not wrong, I saw the H&B side bracket wont be obstructing the GIVI top rack for FZ6. That's what I saw on the previous fazer meet up. :smile:

redline king jio'ed me liao yesterday. so going at 6pm. no point going too early as likely they not opened yet.

on motogp days the customers got dresscode one. most go in their track attire. you better wear your venom there so as not to sia sway... :cheeky:

Hi all,

thinking of getting myself a Fazer1000. But not very sure of the market price of the bike now. Can someone pls kindly advise wat's the price for a new fazer OTR, wat's the market price of a 2nd hand one year old fz1000 and wat's the depreciation rate for this bike.

Quite interested in a 2nd hand one year old FZ1000, but thinking the price is too high, 15k plus for the bike and another 2.5k for his accessories which cost him around 3.5k. So total will be paying near to 18k with accessories. Also the mileage of the bike is quite high, sightly over 30000km, but i believed that the owner did take gd care of his bike and is serviced properly.

The catch for his bike is that i'll jus carry on the installment of $325X47, dun have to do a reloan(neighbour's frenz, somemore find him trustworthy, might jus have some paper document between both parties) and he agree to let me have whatever rebates from his 2nd hand >31yrs old insurance. Bike is under his brother's name and he is the sub-rider, so i am thinking of jus changing the name of the sub-rider for the insurance, heard before that it'll cost somewhere around 70bucks, correct me if i am wrong.

The tyres also needs to be change, and both sides will bear half the cost, around $150 each. Engine oil will be needed to be change in another 500km and that will be around another $100 plus. And not forgetting the transfer fee, which i presume will be about $100plus also.

So total will add up to;

Installment(325X47)+Accessories(2.5k)+Insurance(+/-70)+Tyre(150)+Oil(100+)+ transfer(100+) = >$18k

Jus thinking that the price is too high, so thinking of asking around for advices and on the market price. Those with knowledge on this area, pls kindly advice.
