I will be fixing my givi e45 boxes as the side boxes when the brackets arrive. Still looking for a cheap givi e50 as the top box. Still have 7 weeks before the brackets arrive, so no rush. Except I feel rather vulnerable without a box. Where to put my raincoat? Where to put spare helmet when you want to pick up chicks? Where is the backrest to prevent my pillion rider for flying off my bike?

Regarding the side boxes, if you are fixing them on just for looks, then I suggest the smaller. Smaller profile makes it easier to control.

If you actually use the sideboxes for holding stuff, or if you go touring a lot, then I suggest the bigger. Tools jacket raincoat and spare clothes do take up a significant amount of space. Try to leave the rear box empty for your souvenirs.

Or you could steal a KFC delivery box and fix it on the rear. Estimated 100L of storage. Combined with a pair of E45, almost 200L of storage, not including tankbag.

Bajaj Pulsar 180 - UG3 (2007 - )

Suzuki GSXR-400 (2008 - 2009)

Piaggio Vespa GT 200L (2009 - 2011)

Yamaha YBX 125 (2010 - )

Yamaha FZ S1 '05 (2011 - )

Can I assume that you are getting the hepco becker 40L journey sidecases? Be adviced, that box itself cant fit a full face helmet. Open face required you to open the visor and squeeze it in. Flip up full face helmets can fit though, if you flip up the chin guard.

Dont like how expensive they are, though i do like its durability, and double lock. Just in case one fails in a crash, the other lock should still survive.
