no point install a scott oiler on a fz16 la... under-utilized... more suitable for fz6 or fz1...

Just disappointed with the agent's attitude, not interested in after sales actions at all.

U will be shocked if u were there and see what he did n tell me snd since last fri till today, no respond from him after I text him so that he can reply during his free time...

It's crap right...that's why sometimes pay abit more to shorten the time frame is worth it I believe....

Juz got my cl2 last week and am looking to treat myself to a fz1. Juz quick question on where to get it from. Heard good stuff bout excel cycle... but pricing on their webby is like very low leh compared to Yamaha AD. Diff is like few Ks...

 

Any experiences from excel?

think you got it wrong, i am not asking to purchase another crashbar.

 

below was what happened...

 

 

- My crashbar (at the welding point) cracked, not due to mishandling of the bike, didn’t drop or anything like that, (believe due to vibration)

- brought it down to him to show him, he agree to bring in the new version (the link bar is outside of the hearders, old design link bar is between radiator and engine block) to replace for me and told me that he will get back to me when it arrives

- one mth plus later, I happen to be at that area, I drop by, asked him, he said yeah here already… DUH !!! (understand, maybe he too busy with call me) fixed an appt to get it fixed up the following week

- took half day leave, tried to fix on the crashbar, cant fit , he took the crash bar go grind, grind till it fits (mistake number 1)

- after fixing the crashbar, my main stand, when disengaged, hits my chain, so I asked him how come, he says its like that (mistake number 2)

- tried to push the blame onto my main stand crooked (mistake number 3)

- tried to push the blame onto my LV exhaust stopper (mistake number 4)

- tried to bend m LV exhaust stopper bracket (mistake number 5)

- added a part of a rubber hand grip to the main stand to act as a spacer between my main stand and chain (mistake number 6), the main stand still hits the chain when the bike is on its side stand, but when I sat on it it gives a space (of course lah duh)

- ask me go ride one round and see how, I went for a round, no hitting sound of changing and main stand, but I don feel safe with that thoughts

- I told him to feedback to HB, he agree and say will get back to me (god knows when)

- ask him to remove, he say no need remove, its ok to use (mistake number 6)

- he kept all his tools, went into the store ( I assume he waiting for me to leave) (mistake number 7) I didn’t move, I waited for him to come out and get him to take out the crashbars and put back my sliders.

- he finally agreed and did it, and told me say he will get back to me again…which I doubt so as he was very reluctant to remove the crashbars.

- after doing so, the main stand still hits the chain…something damn wrong…pissed off with the attitude and cant figure out the problem, I left…with the fact that my mains stand touches the chain when its on side stand.

 

Total spend 4 hours there for the above …

 

The following sat, went to hong leong, told them my crash bar hits my chain, they told me say, the bracket for the mainstand (the one above the mainstand mounting bolts) was fixed the other way round, that’s why….

 

I text the agent since last week….and he didn’t respond till now….

 

And I was still encouraging pple to get their racks and boxes and guards from the agent…so regretted doing so…
