sun n yesterday the rain was damn heavy.

Sun on the way to JB on SLE without warning started pouring. B4 i cld wear my raincoat i was already drenched.

 

yesterday aft lst parade...went to my bike n saw my canvas blow off. Despite i tied it n used pegs. :giddy:

that is not true, you can request for change of agent too if you want. If yours is under NTUC, you can go direct to any NTUC insurance branch with the renewal letters sent to you. This is customers right!! dont worry about it.

 

We normally let the shop do the insurance out of convenience, in fact you can get your own agent to do for you.

What is meant here is when you are selling your bike and doing a transfer, you have to inform them.

I remember some MP were saying that singapore got no floods, just 'PONDING' of water...what a name to give,...first time i heard it i was like WTF

da ren, think most big bike is insured under NTUC due it is cheaper for big bikes...but i may be wrong

 

If yours is under NTUC, 1 month before insurane expire, NTUC will send a renewal letter...you can go direct with this form to renew. What i heard insurance company is trying to remove the "middle man" so that they dont have to pay agent fee...hoping that by doing so insurance prices can go lower.

Singaporeans often use (probably innocently as well) terms when used relative with the same in larger countries or where such terms are used to describe an event seem a bit ridiculous.

 

Eg. words we use to describe a river or even a flood here is laughable if you go to a larger country where rivers can be so wide you can't even see the other bank.

 

Anyway 'ponding' sounds rather quirky to me ...... Below is image of what ponding looks like .........

yeah i agree, i remember they did a interview on some tourists a few years ago about how they feel about Singapore River and one of the tourist actually answered " what river?? thought it only a big drain!!!..."
