i think what the yanks say are true. the bite of the brakes are not as good. although compared to my spongy old brakes, i think my spongy brakes had more bite in them. the yanks say this is due to the pads. 1 bloke swapped in his 03 pads and the great bitey feel is back.

 

having said that, this means that my assumption that they use the same pads is true. and this means that the ebchh i took off my old ride can be put to good use!!!
