Just for ur info, i got my roadwin for 6.9k on the road. My insurance is 2nd party one, costing bout 700++( below age of 30 and i'm still on P plate for my bike lisence ) Chong Kok usually offers this pakage for riders above age of 30, but they gave it to me after much talking. My bike did not come with free box and free raincoat, probably due to my insurance price. But i still got a free helmet though. U may take this for reference if u r really getting this bike.

I find the price of this bike reasonable, and about complains, i can say i really have no complains bout this bike. The bike is comfortable when riding, and when it comes to choosing bikes, i feel that comfort is the most important reason. For riding on the xpressway, so far i find it to be all right.

any1 of u set your cab richer after u change front/rear sprockets to 15t/40t?

i think i will do it during 10k service, ask to mech help to move the cab needle's clip one groove down for richer fuel thus more power (fuel consumption will definitely goes up).

If u r paying 3k for downpayment, probably u can pay the balance in 2 yr, probably will cost bout the same as my current monthly instalement. I am paying 173 per month, downpayment 1.5k, and I use 3 yrs for my instalement. Its quite tiring to pay for 3 yrs, bout no choice I did not wana fork out so much cash at dat time.

Oh ya... Forgot to tell u... My interest rate was 5% when I bought the bike. They quoted me 6% initially, but I managed to fight until 5%. Anyway the time to buy the bike, I am not very sure, but december not good to buy new bike is because it rains alot, and the bike gets dirty very easily.

Hey soh

I still have a problem with shifting my gears, after changing to R4 engine oil and running the bike for 1 mth+ and for 1200++ kilometres. I really find it difficult to shift my gear to neutral. U got any ways to solve this problem? My next servicing wont be happening anytime soon, so I cant rely on changing the engine oil to solve this problem. Hope u can help me with this.

:help:

But is changing the engine oil really the only way to make shifting gears smoother? Anyway like watI said before,I do drop by tampines very often still, but maybe would b too troublesome for u.

I planning to get royal purple too, but maybe sometime next week then go n buy.I still got quite some time before I b going for my 2000 servicing. Appreciate dat u suggested to pass me that bottle of silkolene oil anyway.
