unless u send for inspection n get approval from LTA.

But if the daelim dealer is bringing the moriwaki pipe in , why don't they send it for inspection before they sell it??

i just test road the black one today! the color is nice. black and orange. i should be getting that. they have blue, red, and white. red not in the cka hq tho. its kept someplace else. it feels quite powerful for 125cc and exceptionally smooth when changing gears and such. its very stable also. but i almost dropped it when doing a super slow speed u-turn cos not used to the weight ah. aha.. 168kg i think. the CDC bike is like 100kg+? haha. i used all my strength to pull it up man!

stsoh.. let's say i have changed my main jet to #92, by right i should have changed my pilot screw settings as well rite? i feel that my bike kinda lacks power nowadays, is it because of the reduction in main jet size??

pilot or air-mix screw adjustment affects beginning (close) to 1/4 throttle opening.

i find tat the best setting for pilot or air-mix screw is at 2 3/4 turns (default is at 2 1/8 turns).

it will gives easy engine startup.

jet-needle's eclip positions at the top of needle slot affects 1/4 to 3/4 throttle opening.

top slot = lean.

bottom slot = rich.

there is a print error on the maintenance manual which is the other way.

main-jet affects 3/4 to full throttle opening.

thus slacking of power is becoz it is now your carb setting is too lean.

changing the jet-needle's eclip position to 3rd or 2nd (default) will make it lean too.

oh i see.. when u say it affects that particular turn of the throttle, does it mean it mainly affects tat particular one but still have small significance on other openings? or it will only take effect at that particular opening?

i cannot go above 8k rpm, is it affected by the above mentioned settings too?

the other day, i turned my throttle to max (while my engine is off), then i pushed my acc cam further up, but cannot. i remember u said it must have 0.5mm to 1mm slack rite? so i tried to adjust my acc cam cable, but cannot reach. how did u do it?

main-jet will affect the rest coz a smaller orific will restrict fuel flow.

try adjusting the cam cable adjustment screw/lock-nut.

throttle cable is split into two:

1) carb throttle valve (non-adjustable).

2) cam accelerator (with adjusting screw).

so adjust the screw until u can feel a little lift on the cam at full throttle.

this way u know tat the carb throttle valve is also at max.

how did i do it?

simple, just pull the bracket a little towards yourself n loosen the lock-nut first.

use your finger or a small spanner (8mm) turn the screw until satisfiy then lock it.

ok.. i go try it. thanks!

a good mechanic will change one size smaller or bigger main-jet from stock.

reason is a bike manufacturer had tested various sizes b4 decided which will be the overall best.

was quite disappointed tat cka changed several size down 4 u.

maybe there r other reasons, perhap based on other daelim models.

i did mentioned tat i tested with several main-jet sizes,

from mj#98, 100 (stock), 102, 105 n 108.

colder climate might be able to use mj#105 n 108.

our hot climate, best is mj#102 tat is able to produce better top end power.

road on malaysia nsh (north-south highways) r totally different from our sillypore roads.

need tat extra bit of power to run on nsh.

mj#98 is much more suitable for sillypore road.

should i go back to cka n ask them change to #102 as well? i dunno is it me or is it really that my bike lacks power now? i feel that it's harder to climb up the speed, even from 50 to 70km/h. if i do change back to #102, how do i solve my fc problem?

ps: my fc worsened significantly after i added in an air filter cover. supposedly according to cka hq, adding the air filter cover should give me beta bike performance.
