Can I ask some noob questions ? My roadwin the ign very hard to turn the key, can I just spray some chain lube into the keyhole ?

 

and what petrol u all pump for roadwin ? 95 ?

Hi guys, which outlet would u all recommend me to service my bike? Heard some complaints abt the Jurong and Toh Guan branch. Seems like cka HQ is good but is damn far for me. I live in chua chu kang btw.

 

Think I need to change my air filter, brake pad, signal light and check if anything else is faulty for my new 2nd hand roadwin. Dun really know the prices that well, scared kena chop.

i changed my air filter at cka bb for 20bucks, brake pad and signal light i changed at toh guan for 28 and 26bucks each respectively.

 

cannot say which one is the best, but roy sure is a very friendly guy.

i went for servicing @ cka HQ today..my 1st time there..thumbs up for roy..

though my bike was not service by him..i can see he is friendly chap..he is attentive to customer needs & perform a thorough check on every bike tat landed on his hand..my rw is service by another malaysian mech..he is as good as roy..both of them gif mi a pleasant experience..fyi, i service my bike @ cka BB & JE for the past two yrs..i can say cka HQ is the best..

 

i will go back there for my subsequent servicing..

hi neofik, it is worth the visit to cka HQ..i mean how often do u go for servicing..

 

"engine component parts, air-filter or oil-filter, u can only buy it from cka.so price r control by cka, tat means price is fix."

 

ya like wat stsoh say..except for above..the rest can be changed @ other bike shop..

 

fyi, i changed my sprockets & chain (o-ring & heavy duty) for $95..

cka quote $155 for original set & $195 for DID set (both excluding gst)..

Think I will probably make a trip down to cka HQ one of these days. Wanna spruce up my roadwin haha.

 

Tot I wun mind when I bought it, as long as it can move. But look at it like very dirty and dusty dun feel very good.

 

Is cka hq crowded on Sundays? Weekdays I am working, dun have time to go down. And how long does it take for every servicing? a few hours? considering I have to change so many things....

cka is closed on sunday..servicing wont take long..it depends on the Q..waiting time i mean..

agreed. roy is very frenly and attentive to customer needs. he is like a bike lover, working for the passion.. haha.

guys.. just wondering for those ple who changed to racing carb and racing air filter, do u stil have the airbox? because my ride's air filter cover is missing, and the replacement stocks do not come with just the cover. i would need to purchase the whole air box set which i feel is quite a waste of money if i just need the cover. if any of u guys can sell me the cover, contact me at 91050745?? thanks guys...
