1) i can travel all day at top-end speed of 110kph.

2) engine doesn't vibrate violently at speed of 110kph@8500rpm.

3) i can pickup n match speed with any fast moving vehicle on expressway.

4) it is stable with windshield at 110 kph.

maybe mech(roy) got the wrong impression when i told him need to do this n that to improve it. :cheeky:

Any other diff in the new model other than the black frame and wheels, no EGR & preinstalled under cover? Still prefer the old one though....:cheeky:

go to daelim agent cka hq at kakit bukit if they don't have them then it is not in singapore yet.

went there last week, didn't see any yet.

black frame n rims, black rims will not looks dirty n less cleaning. :lovestruck:

Went down to cka hq to get my front sprokets changed just now (finally!). Was charged 15 bucks for it...no prob.

CKA took my original sprokets for keeps(dun think i need them anyway). Sam also said that if unsatisfied can always change back to the original. No worries. Tried out ... pick up was smoother and achieved 80km/h @ 6000rpm. Not bad. Also, big boss was there.

Told me and another roadwin rider bout the status of the Moriwaki pipe. LTA still pending approval. SO any of you wanting to get that rainbow pipe, maybe u can go down once in a while to get updates if its LTA approved already.

Saw the new model. No under fairing on it so i guess the only diffs would be the EGR, silver engine, black frame and wheels. Not sure if it was painted over at the production floor...looks like it to me. Guess the only major difference between the old models is that the new ones look sleeker and more stylish. Didnt ask about the price though.

May be thinking of Roy, Sam and big boss's suggestion of modding the front exhaust(quoted $250) for extra pickup. Great customer service by CKA though. Keep it up

Also, Many thanks to our lao jiao stsoh for his valuable comments & suggestions to improve this already cool bike:cheer:

Soh,

I'll be changing around the end of the month (when pay comes in la..haha). Will let u know when the week comes. Heard from big boss himself that by changing the front exhaust, can achieve same power output as a moriwaki mod. Forgot to ask if the warranty still applies if we do the front exhaust mod. After all, the mod will be done by cka themselves but better make sure though...if not rugi the 2 years warranty on the engine. :bounce:

i change the front sprocket back to original(14t) for pickup improvement.

wat's the different between stock n myroadwin.

stock

14t

42t

110/70 swallow

140/60 swallow

the increase in wheel diameter is equivalent to 2t reduction of rear sprocket.

so owners with stock 14t/42t sprockets will find the same setup as 14t/40t sprockets if they use 140/70 metzeler tyre.

Soh,

You mentioned changing the rear tyre from 140/60 to 140/70. What about the gap between the rear tyre and the tyre guard? Too close to one another?
