the trick is riding posture, heard about carpal tunnel syndrome.

don't lock ur elbow n rest ur palm on the handle.

Dun forget ur posture....if u lean in always like riding a racer....ur bound to get chronic back pains so riding posture also important

proper dress code should be at least helmet, jean, shoe, glove n jacket but most will rather ride nake on a naked bike. LOL.

me don't even dress proper now, helmet, bermuda, sandal, t-shirt, jacket.

Jeans are important....other than thick leather...second best defence against major abrasions! :giddy:

my bike is second hand and rw125.. n bad news! i didn't realise anything when the person pass it to me.i check for everything but this problem escapes my ears... i only realise when i start the bike the next day.. the problem lies in the header.(the pipe connecting the engine to the muffler) when the trottle is rammed, can hear a loose metal sound. like a washer vibrating hard. :giddy: so i went down to the bukit batok shop to get my pipe problem fix. he said "can fix, just need to weld"... so i did.. than after welding, he told me cannot!!!!! :faint: must change a new one since the inside all melted liao! and he quote me $180!!! :gun: :faint:

wad do u think i should do? it will really cost me..shld i get a different header instead???

btw,my bike speed i think it's fine now. accept for the header thing. can reach 80km at mainroads n 90 at highways.but anywhere near 100 can feel strong vibrations everywhere.n my bike at max 110,the rpm needle looks like gonna break! it nearly touches the red zone! everything is stock i think.tt's wad the person told me.however i found a small hole right under the muffler's hole. wad's tt?

hope can help me solve this problems...thanks.:help:

Did u ask the shop to weld for u or did u go and find someone else to weld for you?? If the shop did it, they should at least cut the price down for the new header to at least $140 - $150. If they dun want, go the cka hq and inform them regarding this situation that u are in...after all u are following their mechs advice..

If u did it urself then i guess u really have to change to a new one ready.

If u referring to the small hole at the bottom of the muffler...its normal....was there all along when i first got mine too

jagger, few options tat u can go for:

option 1:

get 2 opinion, depends on the cracks.

inner sleeve can't be weld with filler-rod but can be done using oxy/ace brazing.

tat was done to my stock header.

option 2:

call/go to cka hq, ask roy whether does he got a 2nd hand header for sale.

was last asked by slaygay.

option 3:

maybe jack or me can sell it 2nd-hand header to u.

option 4:

buy a new stock header.

best option is still no.1, cost u $10+labour.

other options will be more exp.

My exhaust header got prob liao....leaking from the front. Recommend u get the original....cheaper also

Agree with soh. Try rewelding. Sometimes the shop juz wanna exaggerate so u can spend more money :sian:

Leak is from the side...but unfortunately changed to original stock already

Using it for more nearly one and half years ready so at least investment was wasted so much

Slaygray, i think u should change back to stock if u got cash....better low end pick up. However, feel that acceleration is slower than mod header. This could be however becoz of the carb settings. (mj 95, slot 2)

Will revert back to 100 or 98 at slot 3 this weekend and monitor the performance.

u can get my header in cka hq if u wan...ask roy if still there and mod it according to soh's method to improve your pick up and mileage

They should sell it to u quite cheap (if not juz suan roy say that the header i give to him FOC so u should get it cheap!)
