Free Gifts that you get when u buy a bike

Wanna share what free gifts we get when we purchase a 2nd hand or first hand bike from any motordiam?

Was given these when I bought my Phantom in 2004

1) bike cover

2) was offered 2 helmets, but I swapped with crashbar

3) road tax/parking coupon holder

4) 2 raincoats

5) rear box & backrest

3)full syn Adelphi Engine oil change in my view

 

for item 3 i requested for it....they wanted to give me a helmet though.....

Actually the cost of the "free" items is already factored into the bike price. Therefore, they are not exactly free.

 

If the bike shops start giving 6 months road tax & COE for free. I'll be happy but that's not possible unless the COE & road tax is $1.

True that the prices of the free stuffs may be factored into the cost.

But for the same price that u purchase at 2 different shops, where 1 shop gives you and the other doesnt give you.

Most stuffs you get are probably what you request for and when you don't ask for they wouldn't bother to give it to you, so why not ask for more =p

i thought box is quite common? I got the kappa 35 for free also. any idea how much it costs?

I've got only bike cover and Helmet. but the price I pay for the bike was $600 lesser than other bike shops quote.

When I bought my R1 i got:

 

1. Headlight protector

2. Swing arm bobbins

3. Frame sliders

4. Helmet ( cheap one )

5. Bike cover

 

 

My fren who bought a K7 1000 recently got:

 

1. Swage Front and Rear Brake Line.

2. Bike cover

 

Prices paid for both bikes are among the lowest after a thorough survey.

Surely these shops calculated they chop u n make enough b4 giving away all the stuffs ( LOL ).
