huh... u sure or not dat bike running on hi-comp gaskets? anyway a hi-comp gasket wont run so hot until like u can really feel it lor... as far as i know it does not have hi-comp gaskets (i dun think anybody in sg using hi comp gasket on 929) besides, dat bike can't even come near my fren's 1994 CBR900 leh...

mine can go about 280km before hitting reserve.. full could go about 330km +/- from my experience...

my dyno jet kit was all along from the preivous owner n b4 simon...jus tat when i took it, it was of tunning..n my mech told me the settin for the dyno jet was wrong as my bike was a pan eroupean bike n nt us..the levels of the needles nid to be different....

when fully stock with K&N filter - 20km/l (300km hit reserve)

 

full system low rev below 4krpm all the time- 18km/l (abt 280km hit reserve)

 

full system high rev, always 5k rpm and aboce - 16km/l (abt 240km/h hit reserve)

 

i dare not to imagine if i change to dyno jet, may be 200km hit reserve liao...

 

may be we go melaka meet grasscutter at end of may... gotta chang my front tyre first.

last time Mr. Ong fix dynojet on his RRT, together with arrows fulls system, he got about 200km/tank. but the dynojet was very badly tuned... a properly tuned dynojet can give at least 250km lor.... :bouncefire:

tat y i say my proper tune, i get more than 240....n 240 still haven open reserve...me everything stock.

needle is cheap, i think $6 per needle, but labour is expensive, change needle and tune+sync cost about $120 at planet if i remember correctly...

 

not advisible to change to dynojet with stock bike, very little gain in bhp with the money spent (jet kit itself cost $100++)

 

get a aftermarket can, K&N then you see the increse in performance significantly, otherwise you get higher fuel consumption but rather small gain in power.

i dun agree to it....get jet kit stage 1. which is for stock bike. infact it is more better than stock. lesser FC.

since ur using the stock air filter for so long, better change to a K&N... confirm the stock wan fully blocked liau ....

Dun tin this jet kit will decrease the FC n it purpose build to faster fuel supply to engine ...btw my opinion is try to get fullsystem n k&n filter install together wif it if u wish to let ur bike perfom well...:smile:
