Hey guys, i'm riding a Xciting 400. Is the stator "coil" a common problem?

Hi Guys,

 

Selling off my Kymco DT 300i with LTA-approved Giannelli IPERSCOOTER full exhaust system. The rest are all stock. Exhaust changed 'cos it's lighter than & I liked the sound.

- COE expiring on 16 Oct 2024 (about 7 years 3 months left). Road Tax expiring on 16 Oct 2017.

- Used for daily commute to work. Good FC. Mileage now is about 43K+km.

- Serviced regularly at 5000km at Motor Sport Pte Ltd (Kymco distributor).

- Accident-free but has minor scratches here & there.

- Fully paid. Cash-On-Delivery (Cash or Cashier's Order).

- Selling this bike 'cos bought a car already.

- Looking at $8000. Cannot get this kind of price at Motor Shop

I guessed it is... I've changed mine nearly a year ago... Now my bike coming to 3yr this November... luckily don't have to replace the rectifier..... Only now it's consume a lot more than previously... need to check my simota air filter, I guess.

Hi Guys,

 

I have just got myself a used Xciting 400i, mileage coming to 28,000km. Bike is totally stock. The previous owner has yet to replace any parts at the moment.

 

1) I noticed that the engine has some vibration under 4,000rpm but ride smooth above that. Is it due to wear and tear on parts? What parts do I need to replace to improve on this?

 

2) May I know what is the estimated mileage to replace rollers, belt, clutch, contra spring, clutch bell etc?

 

3) Where do you guys buy parts from?

 

4) Can anyone recommend me a reputable bike shop that will help service and replace parts if we buy our own parts.

 

Can any guru help advise on the above?
