Hi Advrider,

Thanks for the reply.

Nice looking absorber u have.

But how much u spend plus the shipping. I was told he quoted abt $1500Rm. Not sure if it's including shipping or any extra cost... Really interested in replacing mine too.

Thanks again. :o:o

Ride like you stole it. Please go change oil at 1000 km.

Running-in is really confusing because you ask 5 people or dealers and you get a different reply every time. But from what I've read on other (French) forums, the guys who started to handle their XCiting 400's engine more roughly, i.e. playing a lot with the throttle, quite early on (let's say from 400-500 Kms) are the ones getting the highest performance, around 180 Km/h top speed (read, not measured) all stock and with no issues on the reliability of the scooter (20 000 Kms and no problems)...I ran-in mine as advised in the manual and am getting around 160 Km/h top speed stock....so what you're saying Advrider seems correct ! Ride it like you stole it !

But it's becoming more common to go for the 15gr or 16gr Dr Pulleys + Malossi springs (both the big white one + the small red ones for the clutch) which gives you much more acceleration without sacrificing top speed (same guy is getting 184 Km/h with this config).

Just my 2cts

Hi long time never visit this page. Did any one been using Simota Rear Shock absober. In Malaysia only I and Ramzi own them and it is hell of very nice shock absober for all kind of riding style. It is ok to me as the length is short by 20mm which is 390mm. I have to lowered the front fork by 1 inch to compesate the rear loss. No issue on high speed cornering after installed this Simota shock and I love every moment.

Did you suffer from bike moving side way at times during low speed. That's because the engine mouting give away. I have replaced both and the bike is back to top performance. C ya guys and love your kymco xct what a performance bike it is.

With the reduce shocks do you need to reduce the length of the main stand also?

Any bros have used Techpulley kiss clutch?

I'm thinking of upgrading from stock.

My question are:

--Does it have less vibrations than stock?

--Anyone used for longer than 1 year? Does it break often? My friend using Dr Pulley say it break about once a year, need to change spring! Whereas, my stock clutch can last long time!

Advrider, not neccessarry but the side stand now is a bit high when parking. I have to find same level ground to park to stabilize or side stand at lower ground to make it firm. You know what I mean.

The front fork I have lovered 1 inch and please change the fork oil to harder gred fork oil for better handling at high speed corner.

Cheers

Good day to all!

Guys i own an Xciting 400i and i've been using for a few HIT clutch. (Dr Pulley). I will advise all riders that wants to buy DR Puley clutch to think twice about it.

I will inform you all about some majors problems i discovered with HIT. I will also inform you about Dr Pulley's reaction to all that so that everybody will be informed about Dr Pulley's official behavior to a client that have bought a 300usd clutch.

As soon as i find free time i will give you my report.

Have a nice day!
