Click the right button all the way till you reach ODO. Then press both buttons at the same time.... The clock should blink, left button cycle between hour and minutes. Right button to adjust.

i don't know if this has happened to any one of you guys. just hope its an isolated case.

mileage is at 29k.

 

battery indicator lighted up and as soon as i parked the bike, it was unable to start.

drove to the agent and bought myself a new battery thinking it might be a battery problem.

 

after a day of riding, the battery indicator lighted up again. rode back to the agent,

only to find out that i had a fried coil. didnt know how that could happen but currently its at the workshop.

good thing is, it will be replaced for free as its under warranty.

 

maybe my original battery was working fine after all, so if anyone is facing a similar problem,

just get it checked first.

 

ride safe.

 

Hi votos bro, i had the same problem. That time halfway in my riding, the batt indicator suddenly lighted up. I quickly routed to bike shop. Mechanic told me Same problem fried coil. i was told that that becuz i too long never change oil.. that why too hot.. its not a kymco problem. The uncle told me this bike generally quite problem free !

just put down deposit for a Xciting 400i collect Friday. First thing i need to do is put on a rack. Does any of the universal givi racks fit the scooter? Looking for something solid and sturdy. Also, I want aftermarket shocks. Any good value shocks that has been tested and proven. LAstly, does this group have an fb page? Planning to use the xciting for errands and commuting. I love the style and it is a really nice looker. Price is also reasonable considering the alternatives. Simple, functional and fantastic looks. I considered this and the maxsym and joymax 300i. Dont really like the looks of the maxsym and its too compact for me (im 1.9m). THe joymax is nice but the Xciting has a full 399cc. instead of 278cc on the Joymax. I think i would be happier with a little more power. But thats just me. I am expecting a long love affair with this Xciting....

Congrats on your purchase. Do a search in FB Kymco Sg page you should be able to find it.

 

There's a standard rack for the Xciting just need to check with the shop you bought it from.

 

There are many aftermarket shocks out there like YSS Bitubo Öhlins and the one from Taiwan which I'm personally using. Search a few page back for the review.

great choice. its a very exciting scoot. it controls well and great in traffic situations.

enough power for the right acceleration and speed when you need it.

its not a speedster, but just a great scoot for commuting and great for our road conditions and traffic.

Stability not knowing due to tire size or suspension issue. Suspension feels hard for front n rear too. Hope the feedback can improve the bike.

I suggest you bring you scooter down to the agent to check and if you want to improve the suspension you should upgrade the front shock absorber and setting your rear shock or change to a better rear shock.

bro, if you want a better road holding for the front shock sbsorable you can upgrade at the agent.

Hi, talking about shock absorber, do kymco 400 front absorber need to go any mod for better ride? Especially long distance travelling. Heard this from work shop.... Just curious.
