Recommended travel insurance for Malaysia/Thai touring trip

As titled,

 

Just wish to get some advises or inputs as to which travel insurance has the best value in the market? In terms of like when accidents happen *touchwood*, evacuation, hospitalisation fee and etc... Whether easy to claim or not

 

Saw NTUC, AXA, DirectAsia and more... which one is better? I feel its informative to everyone

it is your choice... each has they benefit and limitation but basically all the same. is just about your agent services. different only $3 to $5 for a trip of less than 3 days.

 

if you travel more than 10 time a year, better to get the annual travel package plan.

Wat i wish to know is the different benefits and limitation of each agent so that I can make a better decision base on my requirements?

 

Anyone willing to share? I noe AXA has unlimited for emergency evacuation...

I use Directasia for both motorcycle and travel insurance because they are the cheapest. Annual plan for Asia-Pac including "extreme sports" cost me 209/ year.

DirectAsia is really cheaper compare to others...

 

Anybody got experience in the claiming process for various agency? Heard DA is quite strict..
