Hi Bro, from where you installed Cateye cyclometer? and how much?? any pics? that how it looks in the bike...

ami422:

I bought the Cateye from Changi Bicycle shop... $40... DIY install (using velcro) over my existing Speedo meter... can't remember the model, but I research that the model I bought can measure up to 299km/hrs

Where you stuff your wire? I pull out the connector just below the clutch level. Then short the terminal with a thick wire. This shouldn't interrupt with the clutch operation.

Same place where i think u put oso.. Juz below the clutch lever.

When take out that mechanism, is juz a 'roller' type of device n the bottom has one end with 2 small copper plated contacts rite?? Probably i used a wire too thick..

I actually twisted a multi-core wire in half n stuff it on 1 side of the 'track'.

The more I ride my SV, the less I care about going to the annual bike show and looking at new,

or expensive, or exotic machinery. I'm continuing to mod my bike into exactly what I want it,

and enjoying every mile I put on it.

Hello Already mentioned GIVI side box rack...

use it for few weeks... after that in my store resting...

So far only 4 types of side rack I know...

1. H&B rack

2. Givi PL rack

3. Givi Wing rack (generic can be used for many bikes)

4. DIY (if you dare)

Hi all , i have just upgrade my rear shock to zx 10 2004 model rear shock. it give you a more better feel as compare to the oem shock. It is fully adjustable. Meantime i am still trying out on this suspension as i just installed it today.

The handling really improve slightly. I will try to adjust the setting gradually. Actually, the oem shock is really a basic shock, and the rebound rate is less responsive as compare to the zx 10 shock. :cheer: :cheer:

yes, need to cut the battery box due the zx 10 additional canister. The battery is shifted upwards and need an additional foam for the battery to rest on the canister. It not a major mod just cut part of the box.
