anyone use soft side panniers before??

Was wondering how 'waterproof' they are..

I'm using soft saddle bags from Kappa, completely non water-proof without the rain cover. Anyway I've torn the covers, so what I did is water tight the contents inside.

Really useful for touring use. and by the way, why do you need the side bag? Top box not enough? Wanna tour already huh?

Btw another piece of news..... SV650 aka Lawrence is our furthest touring SVRider.

Check out where he went to.

Just cut and paste and remove the bold. This forum isn't friendly towards other bike forums in Singapore I suspect.

The Rjay soft pannier - beware of the clip which wear very easily and your exhaust!

Wat brand izzit? Rjays? Oxford? Kappa? Bagster?

Mine is Rjays one. But is the older one.. The series Platinum one v XX $280 @ Regina.

Among all the brands, the best made ones will be from Oxford. Beats Bagster hands down!! But costs $290 for the black one (cheapest one) at Motoworld

I have been trying to find the kappa bags, but to no avail. The only one i seen is from another biker, but is in a shabby condition.

Well, actually I don't own it. My friend used to import stuff from Germany but he stopped doing so. I just put it on just to take pictures so this rack I have here is still brand new. The rack is brought in at $300(cost) but you can have it at $200..

The brand is hecko & becker... If I can afford a set of H&B box, I will keep the rack for myself liao... The rack is very solid... You want? I can install for you...
