Had the same problem 1/2 year ago. Meters going haywire with dials jerking from min to max in no time. Turned out to be the battery... Got it replaced and everything was back to normal.

HI guys.

Owner of red SV650S for 4 years. Like to join you guys when meeting up for coffee when there's a meet up in future. Staying at Jurong.

Holding a service manual for SV650S. For those who are more interested to explore your bike technically, drop me an SMS.

Most of the spares can be easily purchase from Ever Sucess. It's located somewhere near Mustafa. Check out the telephone directory for the exact location. Motor World (Kaki Bukit Rd 1) used to offer full fairing for SV 650. They will only bring in upon request. For those who are interested, can check out with Motor World.

My bike is still fully stock other than the KNN air filter. Fuel efficiency is at 22 - 23 km/litre when I ride it regularly. So far, the bike has served me very well.

Btw, saw one of the earlier posting that Excel Motor is selling SV. One word of advise, try negotiating with the seller directly so that you can have a better buying price. The service at Excel is very bad after you've signed the dotted line.

Happy Riding! :cheeky:

Hi Lawrence,

Thanks for the info on where to purchase the spares. I am just wondering what are the type of spares do they carry for SV400/650. I am staying in jurong also. I happen to notice a red SV650 around JE area, somewhere near JE HDB. Is it yours?

Hi!

I'm staying at Jurong West St 91. Don't think it's my bike thou. Ever Sucess sell spare parts. They are not a service / workshop. You may try Motor World at Kaki Bukit Rd 1 if you are shopping for tires. My friend bought once from them about 1 - 2 years ago. They can bring in other brands if you request.

I'm not too sure how's the service level at Motor World now as I've not been to the shop for quite sometime. There's one mechanic that condems Suzuki bikes, which I hated. But one of the boss, Kenji, was quite a nice guy. You can approach him for your shopping list. Btw, they also carry lots of racing suits and accessories. Bought my tank cover and bag from them. Cost me S$150 each. They import it from overseas.

Just to share with all of you. Tried my last two servicing at Unity Motor (Alex V). Served by a guy called Ah Pui. Quite a nice guy. The best thing I like about is that the guy would return you with a clean bike (don't expect that he wash & polish your bike thou). But one thing about him, he likes to convince bikers to install electric horn... Pushing for sales??? Maybe. Anyone tried that shop? Any feedback?

Last, LIMSTEEL, how's your SV650? Still enjoying the bike? :thumb:

For suzuki spare parts, get from KS motorcycle along jalan Besar, the same stretch where chiap lee with the big Arai helmet shop is located. Its a few shop before Chiap Lee, close to 7-11. Eversuccess get their spares from KS then they jack up the price and include GST somemore.

KS sells the cheapest genuine suzuki spares, no gst, only disadvantage is payments by cash only, even bikeshops get the spare part from them.
