No Lah, don't like that say... Alfred's version is really well doned and polished...

The credit should go to Albert aka KooTeowMan. It's his idea and with his help to hook up the hazard light switch.

Anyone interested in getting a Subaru car? Contact our man, Albert aka KooTeowMan at 97672812.

And yes, still no test drive on S204 for killer whale Ah Seng

the run in izzit 500km will do??

You will be surprised that you know your own SV better then anybody in SBF. Basically all riders will get to develop a kind of special relationships with their own bike. Even two identical SV will behaved and feel differently if you ride them back to back.

Very much depend on how you care for your SV.

Ok, back to your qus. Izzit 500km?

My opinion is..

XXXkm is only a guideline. As days goes by. You can feel that you SV will eventually recovered from the “operation”.

With many years of riding experiences under your belt. You will be able to sense your SV health. If you feel she is not ready after 500km, take it easy on her.

2 cents…

magnetic gasket u mean??

not sure if u r refering to the piece of rotor disc on the left, somewhere infront of the front sprocket though...

else, i dun think there's a magnetic gasket, cos most gaskets are made of rubber

anyone know where can i get magnet casket (not too sure of spelling )

any other motor part tt can use??

Denden,

How can you give such big title. “'know-it-all' SV senior tech”

I sat 2 hrs in front of the computer screen, creaking my head, trying to ans such a simple question above.

Im ashamed. Please take back the title. I can never, never be a senior tech. Not to mention, “know-it-all” is way too much to break my head and explode my brain.

See, two guys above know how to ans. I don’t.

That simple question killed paxson99.

50 yrs ago Sputnik flew across the sky sending Beep, Beep, Beep….

50 yrs later, SV may fly across sending Vhooom, Vhooom, Vhooom….

Both Sputnik and SV have a common inspiring nature. It inspired their competitor to do better. Enjoy the video clips….

hey I found out something interesting.

SV400 bore x stroke = 72mm x 49mm = 399cc

SV650 bore x stroke = 81mm x 62.6mm = 645cc

So the SV400 is not exactly a shorter stroke SV650. This also means that a lot of the engine parts (e.g. pistons) might not be similar as we assumed earlier.

tink the con-rod just needs to be changed. the piston has to use the 650 one and the block has to be bored bigger (to encompass the bigger piston)
