met an SV rider at Planet Motor just now, red 650, FS plate. Asked him to join us but he wasnt interested. Well, at least I tried.

 

I've got a friend who might be joining us. Have asked him to become our photographer. Maybe we can take some shots for the album :thumb:

 

Oh yeah, and Lawrence/Limsteel/Seraphim, where are u guys?? :help:

Don't kena sai me... I was hoping for a group like this for the last 4 years. Most SV owners I knew didn't keep their SV for more than 6 mths. Finally found you guys.

Well, I'm not really looking for any sense of comfort. I know I'm a total stranger to you people, thus the alienation. Hope you guys don't mind me popping in like this, just that I've been riding alone for too long and now kinda excited to find some guys with the same bike to talk about. BTW, I also rode the SV for 4 years.

As your problem specify 1st, 2nd and 3rd, it sounded quite familiar.

Some models of SV has this ignition retard built in to meet sound levels of certain countries. I dunno if this is what you are experiencing, although the instructions mentioned only about 2nd and 3rd gear, you may give it a shot because its a very simple mod.

I have one to let go. May not fit the 400 though cos it has some extra bits to cover the grab rail gap.
