Trend-setting sporty body lines expressing a new naked-bike styling image.

 

Wedge-shaped front design highlighted by distinctly shaped headlight with two position lamps and a turn-signal-lens-integrated fuel tank cover.

 

Center-up-muffler-integrated tail cowling carrying dual taillights in a neat, straight alignment with the muffler ends.

 

The newly developed liquid-cooled 4-cylinder DOHC 4-valves-per-cylinder engine, extensively incorporating advanced technology from the supersport GSX-R series and fitted with a fuel-injection system - the first on a 400cc-class naked bike - delivers quick response together with environmentally friendly and fuel-efficient performance.

 

Diecast-aluminum twin-spar frame featuring a seamless finish and subframe-fitted swingarm contribute to both a supersport-bred running performance and a characteristic visual design.

 

Highly rigid 43mm conventional front forks, link-type rear suspension and 180/55 rear tire - the widest in its class - together present high standards of handling stability.

eh, so we going mersing or not? We need a proper SV outing, which should involved at least 100 km of riding together.

 

btw just got my rectifier changed. $170 + $85 for battery :giddy:

 

In case any of u get the same problem as me, heres what happened. Press starter button, nothing happen, tacho go up and down very fast. Lights still on. Managed to push start. Signs that its a rectifier problem. Speedo might also go up and down (thanks for the info Caleb)

 

Anyone know the life span of our rectifier? Mechanic told me average 3 yrs.

 

And thanks Albert for helping me out :thumb:

$350 spray job whole bike (fairing, Tank, etc...). $50 labour, for bending all my brackets to shape...

Change both my foot rest and padel (supplied by me)

Nope, I can have the best of both world(Ride and Drive). Except I can put off the idea of buying TL1000S, Busa, VStrom650... So Itchy also cannot buy another bike...liao!

 

Infact I was force to sell my DR2... bo pian 2 Bike 1 car only I use something wrong...

 

So next time, go out with wife drive... Go LimTeh with Kakies Kawans, Ride!
