anyway guys...tat day i went Ubin...the boat to Pengerang is there too. And I saw a brochure tat says about the offroad experience. The price is SGD 150 for a day and the bike is KTM200.

 

When I have some extra cash to spare, I'll go try den post up here...heh

 

i heard abt this before also.. i also recently went ubin.. last sat in fact.. i heard from my other frens they offer equipment and stuff u nid.. they even provide lunch.. not sure how it works thou.. ubin is greatly modernized nw thou.. sad.. even the uncle who rears the boar also told me the island is just not homely anymore..:(

 

gd evening...tioman is great!!

 

its actually a cheap getaway from spore...u juz need to get to mersing den take a ferry to tioman...our bus coach from larkin to mersing costs us RM11.50 (one way), ferry RM35 (one way).Accomodation was cheap lah..divide by 4 pple, each of us oni paid RM75 for 2 nites!!..book everything DIY one..

 

there we did snorkelling, ate seafood, took a round island trip (on very rough waters off South China Sea), trekking, waterfalling, swimming, etc, etc..some of u guys might consider going there though..if u need any advice, juz ask...

 

go diving thr!! haha.. :p anyone interested?

O ride this friday 6pm ah..i saw the invitation.

Very much wan to join but cant...

1stly no bike,

2ndly work ends at 6.30pm @ serangoon.

 

Do tell me when you guys will end up at around 9pm....

Greetings Everybody!

We would like to thank everybody for their interest in signing up with the NUS Riders at the matriculation fair 2009. With that, we cordially welcome you guys to the University and at the same time, inviting everyone to our NUS RIDERS Orientation Ride 2009.

 

Touching abit on the club, We are a group of students and motorcycle enthusiasts, formed within our campus community, with a mindful purpose of cultivating safe riding. Our club activities include riding sessions, group bonding activities and even touring sessions across the border. As such, we welcome all motorcyclist from the NUS community, be it current or ex-students, to join in our club outings!

 

The Orientation Ride is a yearly event, aimed at navigating new riders to different places and carparks in the campus. This event also gives opportunity for both new riders and current student riders to network around and forging friendships with fellow bikers in the University.

 

So, do head down to our Orientation Ride at the location and time below!

 

Location: SRC Carpark

Time: 6PM Sharp, 6.30 Move Off

Itineary: We will be riding around campus and having dinner together around evening.

Important: To those without motorbikes, that wish to join us, please sms your name to Ash or Haikal, so that we can arrange for your transport with the riders. Pillion places are limited so it will have to be on a first-come-first-serve basis, subject to availability, so do SMS me a.s.a.p!
