i would like to inform u guys that i have just met with an accident and am currently hospitalised...

 

have got quite a serious injury on my left arm...

 

just like to remind everyone to ride safe as i am deeply regretting what has happened to me...and would not like anything like this to happen to any one of u guys...

 

Hope you have a speedy recovery bro! Get enough rest and try to catch up with school work first.. And don't forget, claim that car for every damage that happened..

i was going straight, the car was turning right...T junction...green bothway..

i hit the side of his car head on...

 

so basically moral of the story is to slow down at every junction even if u have the right of way...

would just like to check if free parking for bikes apply for everywhere in campus? any information that i should take extra note of?

this cb bmw punkster (ic start with S90***** so ard 19yr old) pplater.. with 2 chao ah lians, probably taking his dad's bmw n yaya-ing ard..

he bang me from my left.. i was going straight on 2nd lane, he suddenly cut into my lane from 3rd lane where the traffic was very slow.. 2nd lane trafic flow was quite ok..

then hit me, i fell to my right, slid a few meters and end up in lane 1..

luckily i was wearing my leather jacket n all..

ppl came ard to help me.. but i m in one piece lukily..

 

funny how his bmw got so whrecked up but my bike not badly damanged as i expected.. tell u all next time..

yupz, thats a good tip..basically when approaching junctions, its a good practice to close throttle..get ready your brakes and eyes must be moving to anticipate those careless drivers..avoid dangers by riding defensively...and also be appropriately attired...

 

remember, dress for the fall...not for the ride...ride safely everyone!

i encounter this many times man and im thankful for my loud horn...cos i've been riding long distances expressways...these drivers they cut u from left expect u to give way to them..this is where i juz whack my horn...

basically all car park in NUS is free except for those marked in red got to be a bit careful..but most pple park, they got no summon...so park in the red lot at your own risk..other than that, its free...

yes.. i agree that even if we have the right of way, we still have to lookout and slow down at traffic junction.. sometimes we gotta learn the hard hard way.. but nevertheless, we shld always learn and apply wad we learn from others.. tk care suran.. speedy recovery.. tk care.. and i agree a loud horn will always save you sometimes.. one side of my horn is spoilt.. goin to change it soon..

I'll second that.. I had that painful lesson once, when I failed to slow down n tried my luck on a Cross junction.. In the end, got banged by an oncoming car, broke my teeth, bruises, and a several repairs on my bike, on top of a 9 demerit point n $200.. All in all, I'm just thankful to be alive.. painful lesson learnt, its not worth it at all.. that few seconds of journey time will cost u much heartache and pains..

Basically, park ur bikes at designated bikelots, and even if its full, just park beside the last available lot. The security will understand that it was full just now.. But try not to park places which blocks or impedes other road users from passing thru... or at Fire standing area..

i encounter this many times man and im thankful for my loud horn...cos i've been riding long distances expressways...these drivers they cut u from left expect u to give way to them..this is where i juz whack my horn...

suran is injured... abrasions and an open wound on his left arm.. he'll be going for op tmr to cover the wound.. then he'll also be going for a skin graft..

 

the worst condition of all, he has not yet been able to move his left hand.. worst case scenario he might lose his feelings on his left hand.. possible nerve damage..

 

that's why i urge all of you to pray for him..

i riding riding then "bang"!!!! on my left..

 

apparently the 3rd lane was at snails' pace.. n 2nd lane was able to go 30-40..

then he just cut out into 2nd lane lor.. i didnt even see it coming, when i saw it, no time to react alrdy.. took the hit, keep my legs in, went down with the bike, slide along and stuck out my arms to protact my face and head.. lucky wearing my leather jacket
