Option 2: Find other chalet. (The accomoddation + food might not be similar)

Can somebody provide an insightful solution?

i prefer overnite stay cos thats where got fireworks and nice dinner..

Alternatively ash, u might wanna recce the other chalets after our last paper..see if got any available chalets which are good/suitable for us..our requirements are:

 

1. place to park our bikes

2. nice halal food

3. place to play fireworks

 

its time to explore other chalets..if it fits the bill, there is availability and the price is right, why not?

Sialah this is like the worst thing happening. I mistaken the Kukup ride to 5th dec. I have to remove my name on kukup ride because a friend of mine wedding on the 14th dec. This is damn bad. She already personally send me a invitation letter. It will be quite mean not to go but I'll MISS ALL THE FUN!! Argh! (honestly, when i bathe just now i was thinking abt the paintball and tactics to employed against the NTU team)

I need to ask a NUS related question about exams.

 

Currently the situation is this, after taking my MA1505 Maths exam which is my core subject, I think i'm gonna fail the module. Now a few bit of qns.

 

1. Does NUS practice this thing call 'moderation'? Like, if everyone fail, then they moderate the grades up so some pple who actually fail pass?

 

2. How can I retake a module? Big through CORS under which category?

 

3. Lets say I fail, any alternatives apart from switch courses/dropout from NUS?

 

Please don't say things like "hey be optimistic, etc". This is just a back up plan. Haha. I just wanna prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

- NUS has "S/U option". you have 3 chances to S/U 3 modules (except your core modules - at least thats for my course) over the entire study in NUS. However, u need to pass the module.. you can only S/U for a module grade which is just passed and don't want to reflect it in ur result.

- i think you have to bid through CORS again. Unless your department can help you.

- Oh.. and if later on in years, if u need certain module to fulfill ur MC, but u cannto get the module that u like.. u can appeal for it.

Yes there is moderation. Most mods in fact they moderate before giving the grade. I think. Unfortunately for Eno, this mod cannot SU so that is not an option. Oh n a D is a pass. Which also means if u have other mods needing it as pre requisite, no issue.

- i think you have to bid through CORS again. Unless your department can help you.

Yea, normal bidding process. U know your result before bidding. So does the system. Therefore u can bid as per normal for that module again. Same cat which is programmes account.
