Never regret joining NUS riders.

 

Unfortunately, must take class 2A soon if I'm always touring.

 

 

 

I agree with both lines, though apologies for not being able to make it. And man... Totally need to upgrade. Will prolly try one more ride up on my CBF again, but if I still don't feel secure, will have to change sooner... btw nice pics, with regards to the Desaru trip! Guess there'll be more to look forward too eh? heh!

What's so unsecure abt your bike? If you were in my place, u will be VERY insecure. Let me tell u the truth abt my bike.

 

-11 years old bike.

-Shaky conrod. Totally a lot of vibrations. Mechanic say it can last 3 mnths only.

-Loose chain to desaru

-Front brake nt totally working. Bicycle brake brakes better than mine. I rely 80% on my rear brake.

-Pipe not standard : leads to VERY VERY slow acceleration and no power to go up those hills. Ask Hafiz. From 2nd place go up hill, my bike no power. Drop all the way to 2nd last. Even Hafiz wanna overtake me haha coz i'm just too laggy behind.

-Small problems here and there.

oh yah, i wanted to mention this...when behind u tt day, i saw ur rear brake lights keep on and off-ing on its own..and i dunt tink u were braking...so u betta check tt out..

 

eh u sure ur bike no power, cos sumtimes u were fast, sumtimes slow..so i tot u purposely go slow...dunt worry i wont leave u behind...unless rafie is there..

Oh that is one of the minor problem with the brake lights. The connection keep on and off. That's why u see my lights go on and off.

Although its really tempting to upgrade, u must consider the cost that you have to bear upon upgrading.. I.e. 3 bottles of engine oil, 4 spark plugs, $300+ for tyres, higher consumptions, hotter engine, more insurance + road tax..

 

My advice, if ure financially sound, please do upgrade.. else, CBF is good enough to tour.. "Never the bike, always the rider..".. Saeed went to Thailand on his 10 yr old Rxz..

You're asking for it.. I think shud have mandatory bike inspection/test before can allow bikes to go touring..keke
