SP is the proarm version

RR is the swing arm version..

 

What's the difference?

 

Your rear tyre is held by this mechanism that is called swingarm..

1) Proarm holds the rear tyre at one side only (mostly left side)

2) Swingarm holds the rear tyre at both sides.

 

Debatably, I heard that Swingarm is generally more preferred as it provides for better cornering due to the equal weight distribution on the axles.. however, i am not really sure on how true that is.. most of the NSR u see on the roads are SPs.. there are little RRs around, althought I've seen several SPs converting their Pro-arm to Swing arm in JB..

xianyu says he has to tiptoe, so i probably wont be able to reach. can the suspension be lowered? i wonder if there will be any problems associated with lowering of the suspension
