it depends on how involved u wanna be with us... this thread of cos would be here for a long time, but club activities would be posted 1st in our forum.

No special rates for club members but our activities have so far been ad-hoc..u wanna take part u share the costs..

Hi Guys,

Your friendly Interest Group Advisor signing in from Chang Mai.

Trip has been uneventful so far, a few near misses but no real mishaps.

One guy lost a mirror when his bike fell, one broken clutch cable, and a failed brake system after a drop (while going down mountain!) but everybody is ok.

Today is an R&R day in Chang Mai.

We've climbed thailand's highest mountain (2500 m above sea level), gone to the golden triangle, gone to some really cool mountain top temple (wat) which I cannot recall.

Tomorrow we're heading off for the famous Mae hong Song Loop, but reports are that the loop is in bad condition, including 10-20 km of gravel road between Pai and MHS.

Off to the the Karen villagers after that (I will rent a dirt bike as there will be stream crossing- don't want to mess up the STX).

We will shoot down the Pattaya, then bangkok and then all the way down south back to Singapore, eta is about Sun-Mon.

Latest report, 1 bike down, mechanical failure. Had to ship back from, of all places, Mae hong Son, which is about as far from singapore as you can get in Thailand. Rider is ok.

On my part, we were trying to do a high speed return to Singapore from Chiang Mai, but I took a wrong turn at 2am in Bangkok and got hopelessly lost for the next 3 hours.... spent last night on the streets on bangkok and checked into a hotel today.

u must have taken lots of pics with 1 gig of memory storage ... (hint hint)
