It seems like a price where you have a lot to do to restore the bike and renew coe. But not a bad start price to start a project since you look like you enjoy restoring old bikes. You can look to spend $5k - $10k to do up the monster and you can fetch a reasonable price as its value is there especially for 400cc monsters. Not too many nice 2A bikes around with such a character.

 

5-10k so ex to do restoration:faint:

i thought your family making noise with the total no of bikes u got?

 

anyway, i recommend that you get to know the monster prior to starting your monster project. the knowledge alone will make the job alot easier. i learnt that the hard way.

Push-off from Penang after lunch.

 

Plans are not finalised yet. All ideas, suggestions and contributions are welcome.

Date Change to Sat, 20 to Tues, 23 June.

 

We will leave SG on June, direct to Penang. That's approx 700kms. 2 nights in Penang and then to KL for 1 night. Hotel costs will be approx RM$150 per night on a twin share basis. Meals, fuel, shopping and extras at your expense.

 

I have a support vehicle that can follow us to carry our gear, some spares, luggage, shopping, etc. Looking for 2 or 3 substitute riders/drivers who can drive up in this support vehicle and alternate the driving/riding.

 

If anyone is interested to fly up to Penang and join us, check with AirAsia, JetStar and SilkAir for some special deals to Penang.

 

So, all those interested in this trip, let's get together and start the preparations.

Moto V is organising a Durian ride into JB. Mostly going by trunk roads. Ride is a slower paced one due to possible class 2B bikes following so dont expect to go full throttle. Date: 6th June Saturday Morning

Meet: 8am 2nd Link Petronas

Plan :

Time: 8am

Meet: Petronas After 2nd Link (Plan to be at Spore Immigration at 7.30am)

Breakfast @ ayer hitam 86km 10am

Will eat at corner coffee shop... @ traffic lites

(Important! Light Breakfast and Leave your Stomach for the Durians!)

Durian @ Pagoh 40km 12 noon

- bring container if u wanna Ta-pau

(will stop be Chendol stall after durian, join the Non-Durian Riders)

 

I am going for this ride. Anyone else wanna join? Either let me know or log in to moto-v forum to sign up yourself.

he will overtake the whole group, then slow down in the same lane let the whole group overtake him and then the cycle continues again. haha!
