Not normal for any road-going bike. You should get your bike checked by your mechanic.

Yup, i done everything i could service carb, change engine oil and sprk plug and even change air filter already...I think it has a manufactured fault... my only solution right now is only to clutch in when closing throttle so it wont backfire...

apparently your carb setting is rich thus backfire.

look for pilot(air)-screw, not idle-screw.

use a screw driver n tighten 1/4 turn.

if still didn't work means u had turn wrong direction.

turn it back n go the other way by 1/4 turn.

I got a few friends riding cubs who loves to do backfire on purpose. The act looks... very damaging to the engine.

Backfires are caused by too-lean of a setting therefore causing failure strokes in combustion and hence the uncombusted mixture is being pushed out to the header, exhaust manifold. The heat from the next wave of combustion will light up the residue petrol on the exhaust thus the backfire.

Spark plug, Carb or tuning screw affects the backfire? Or is it a combination of the three?
