Went to HKL 2nd floor to look at gloves and saw a Sliver-storm with a nice no. plate, 8*88 at HKL on Sat afternoon at 1+pm. Rider was speaking on his mobile, so didn't go over to say hello...

 

Am sorry that I didn't do so and just curious who was at HKL on Sat afternoon...

spotted a nice silver 05' FJR FBB66* at bukit merah last saturday.. wanna go over say hihi to the owner but he seems like super bz chatting with the brokeback andrew..so hance didn't disturb them..wonder who bike is that..

there should be a few palce u can goto.. FJT at deskar road, AM at beside mustafa, HL at ubi.

i think the best & easy place is HL, look for mr. Lee or any mechanic there. They should be friendly enuf to help..

That normal, all-stock FBB66* belongs to the person who "stepped" onto your "tail" unknowingly previously --> me...

But I don't remember speaking to Andrew lei, I only passed him something and went into the motor-shop to speak to my mechanic inside...

Do you mind to advise? If we are to go to Hong Leong and look for Mr Lee or any mechanic there, the "locking mechanism" of our panniers will be replaced with the same "black plastic" ones???

 

Heard of some of the riders here changing that "locking mechanism" to metal ones by going to Seng Kwang at AMK to have that "black plastic locking thingy" replaced with a metal piece. Will it be better?

 

Do I just walk into Seng kwang, speak to anyone there and tell that I would like to change the "locking mechanism" of the FJR panniers to a metal one?? Or is there specifically anyone whom we can look for???

The locking mechanism is riveted to the box. I highly doubt HL can do anything about it except to ask you buy new box. But no harm asking.

regards to ur question i don't think i can answer to u as i never have $$ to change the "metal locking mechanism" at Seng Kwang..maybe u can try bring 300bucks to there & Seng Kwang boss will be happily introduce to u who can help u solve this question..

pardon my kaypo-ness.... Just go Seng Kwuang and tell them you want to change to metal ones. They'll still carrot you all the same...

JUST WANNA CLARIFY : Me going with the Falcons DOESN'T mean that I am a hell rider or I am a fast rider and is able to catch up with them. I always let them "open throttle" and be ahead of me.. I only travel at my normal comfortable speed. I also CANNOT catch up with the Falcons... I just let them go ahead and meet up with them at the "pit-stops" for gasing up.
