that thing is called a frame slider.. Can get from motovation.. They advertise in this website too.. Unity motors is one of their distributors.. Last time i ask is 80 bucks including installation.. But must cut hole... Heartache ah.. US got one dun need cut hole one...

Thinking of getting a top box. The stock matching top box is far too expensive $1300!

The stock panniers are only 39litres each. So, not much things u can squeeze in.

anyway, the 2 tone silver u mentioned is the cerulean silver that i see at fjrgoodies.com izzit? i aim to get the normal silver for the 03/04 model leh.

Saw a red fjr at the Looi's motor showroom today. Seems the no ABS version going for $20500(machine price). According to the uncle, it's the last few of that model. No other color available. ABS version coming soon.

is tat brand new or 2nd hand?

BTW, ABS is already on the road. Just tat alot of places no more stock. Heard new shipment is coming in feb.

saw it at Loois on last Saturday too, its a brand new one. boss say its the last piece from their inventory, 2002 model w/o ABS, red.

Read in several overseas forums that fjr buyers have to put a $500 deposit to order it. Spore does not seem to have this program. Orders for the 05 model seems to begin in Feb 1.

hey same here, i waiting for class 2! or else i would have bght it liao!

anyway, i hope yamaha would have solved the heat issue i heard alot about in the 04 model. any idea or feedback? singapore weather is hot enuff!

@ZON - What kind of servicing do u DIY if any? I thinking of doing sth but not very confident.. Hope to get some advice from more experience FJRians..

Whoa! Saw an fjr at jalan besar jus now! FW 5XXX U plate. any of u guys? it really looks swollen on the road next to the ah pek bikes!

btw, how much is the insurance? normally they quote 1st or 2nd party?

Lube the drive splines, syn the throttle bodies cum change spark plug..

More or less i know how after reading from certain FJR websites but since its first time, i hope to have an experienced FJRian to guide along..
