oh, got a question here... i'm still on the original Z4 since day 1, and it has already clocked 9kkm. how long can it last me? i'm planning for a trip to bkk, mayb next week, wondering if the tires can make it there and back

 

another question, any one can recommend good engine oil, full syn? and the price?

I think it better for you to gauge from the tyre thread.. Different rider of different riding style will affect the tyre wear rate.. From wat i read up.. hard braking and fast pick up are two main cuprit of excessive tyre wear.

 

Also, u also got to consider whether you are travelling in the day or nite. I think there a different between these two.

Any other suggestions? Anyway, does anyone know where got sell FJR's headlight gaurds and accessories?

Motorworld which sell Bagster tankbra, ventura Headlight-protecter.

 

For headlight-protector, u also can get it from Motrax33.

He also has motovation heavier balancer, Creation Engine armour.

Price wise, u can give him a PM.

anyway just wan to advice u ,, pls check for bumps on the tires.. uneven surface on the tires/ as for the condition of tires can or can not make it/./ not to worry./// 1800 kms up and 1800kms back will be fine.. pls takenote///

dun risk it if there uneven surfaces on the tires( THAT'S MEANS NOT SMOOTH surfaces when U RUN UR PALMS OVER THe TIRE SURFACES)!!!!!!!

jim motorworld selling at $120 for the tankbra and the headlight guard at $55 i think./. and u can get the rest from motorxxx i think . The armour engine case guards abt $150..the balancer at $40.0 dam they r real dam heavy ... ! and that's serve the purpose well,..

huh.. Motrax33 qoute me $45 for the headlight covers.. think i'll get from him..

Headlight protector of Ventura @ motorworld and motrax33 are not the same.

Ventura ones are 1 piece whereas motraxx33 one are 2piece with FJR1300 white craving words on it. I am using motrax33 one. For me both work the same, the last time i went to motorworld, not stock for FJR1300 headlight protector, got to place order.

 

Balancers or bar-end are use to reduce slight handle bar vibration. Some required drilling at the end of the handle bar.

The bagster tankbra u got it at $120? i got mine for $150. (wondering i kanna carrot or not).

i got it on 2002 ..may be price increase ... i didn't drill any holes on it leh.. on bar ends for the balancer// btw guys want to meet up this friday nite? LOCATION.. at redhill hawker centre///

Ya, i using Motrax33. At first trying to get Ventura from Motorworld but no stock. Motrax33's HLC looking nicer with the "FJR1300" craving on it.
