Time for tires change, the current Pirelli Diablo Strada has approx 25000km and the tire grooves is getting near to the safety limit

I am considering these tires, which would be better?

Michellin Pilot Road 2 (Unique has discounts and it cost $389 for a set)

Michellin Pilot Road 3 (the thread pattern looks abit weird though)

Pirelli Rosso 2

Hello hello, welcome to the family. Nice to know that there are people actually buying Kawasakis. Enjoy your ride, perhaps the first thing you should do is to break her in properly. There's a track day coming up at PG, perhaps you should consider it. ;) But all jokes aside, I think a set of good cans will set you in the right direction. Perhaps some protection because the bike isn't what people call 'light'. Is there a new motorola startac which I don't know about?

My personal opinion is probably Road 3, Road 2 and Rosso 2. The road 2s are fantastic in dry and wet, I wouldn't drag a knee on them but I have absolute confidence in them. I have yet to try road 3s but I came from a rosso II and think they are on par with road 2s. I feel rosso wears slightly faster than road 2.

Have you considered bridgestone?

LoL.. motorola startac is just a memory bro, during the 3310 days... anyways my priority is to get the bike protected, to the extend that i was contemplating on getting stunt cages. too many errant drivers nowadays. twice this month my super4 got knocked down while it was parked. even the sliders cant protect the engine from the road kerb.

and regarding the cans, any idea whats the specific requirement(decibels) to legalize a pair of cans? im really tempted to get urban brawlers, since they also offer optional inserts. thank you very much!

The CSONE should not be legal. I think from 86db-93db should be the limit. But legalizing is a lot of hassle for a person to undertake this task. To get a stunt cage would be a little over the top but who is to comment since it is your bike.

Yeah i thought so too. As for the stunt cage, it isnt too over the top IMO. Its almost similar to the sw motech crash bars, only wider. And if it could protect the plastics as well, y not? Lol..

evershine = nevershine = sucks balls

Kawa local agent support is the shittiest imo. Just look at how Malaysia is doing with their Kawasakis compared to us. yes, Malaysia kawa agent is doing a better job...

Got my spares from Jack in JB, transfer funds using Maybank remittance service $30 per transaction. The parts was sent to my in law place in JB, he do not sent to Singapore unless for small item and above RM300. He is a honest seller, he sent the parts before receiving the money.

Jack quoted me much lower than motormatic for the same spare parts.

Hi there, im riding the matte black model.. So i'll list down the pros n cons of matte paint..

IMHO,

Pros: matte paint is easier to maintain. No need waxing. = No swirl marks. Washing is also easy. Matte finishes looks more rugged and streetfighter.

Cons: matte paint scratches is almost impossible to touch up unlike gloss finishes. Matte finishes absorb heat from sun. Not for colourful enthusiast. Matte paint protection kit is not readily available in market and if any, its expensive.

I may have missed out some pointers but these are what i could think of. Enjoy ur new ride and becareful with that right hand. The throttle response is instantaneous..
