Fat Bob is a sweet ride. Very nice position and will last a long way on road trips. Prefer to have forward controls even tho it kills the rider on long haul but no pain no fame! :)

I love and I own a Harley but to be honest I hate most of the Harley riders.Harley riders are very proud bikers. Most non-harley bikers that I meet on the road are friendly but most Harley riders are just one kind.I should say some HARLEY RIDERS ARE JUST POSERS.If not for the love of the bike I would not be riding one.Thats why I never ride with other Harley bikers.True bikers are suppose to be sharing interest and the joy of riding. This is just my own observation and my opinion.Ride free and ride safe!!

i like that, no pain no fame...but some models just have to have the forward controls to look good, e.g those softail customs or night train:thumb:

i agree with this wholeheartedly. an additional view of mine is that most harleys must be seen and heard in person to fully appreciate. Visit the Harley showroom and hear the bikes coming and the ones in the service centre... takes your breath away - and you will say, any one of these machines will do!

Fatboy cause I am riding one now. But seriously, any harley would be fine by me. A little bit of customizing here and there, and any harley could be turned into my own dream ride. Just thankful to be able to ride a harley.

Cheers

Sigh...

Cant help it but to agree with you...

But I think there are some whom are just pure bikers whom if you give them any bike to ride, they will appreciate it. These ones are those typically would own some Jap cruiser before, and may have more than just HD bikes.

Recently while looking for a bike to rekindle my old "hobby", I noticed bucnh of HD sellers who dont quite sure about the price they want to sell their rides. And kept increasing the asking price whle their ads warns "serious buyer only".. So dont know whether the quote " serious seller" applys.???? Some even after the asking price was offered to them, they back out and ask for time to consider...than Up their price later coz they think their bike worth more now after some "serious buyer" offer. They probaly think that HD are rare breed... [i beg to differ] Its just a nice looking bike. [No pun intended, coz I also like its design]

This trend may just show abit of their indecisive character and their uptight attitude towards selling their rides..not very reflective of a cool and easy going HD rider that we thot have..[Just my 2 cts worth of tots]

I think I have said enough, worry may start a war.

No other choice but Heritage Springer Evolution .....cause I have one with 21" big daddy wheels...Presently working on a new project for my Sportster 1200Custom...transforming to street bobber style...black out with Gold Brass theme..should be a nice ride I think!! :)

No matter which HD is your dream its all personal and if you are finanicially sounds, city ride ( the poser type ), touring by all means the baggers beats the rest.

Nv see things on the surface, talk to them and u'll know more. u'll nv know a person with a helmet over the head and not talking to him. If u have that supernatural power of able to know judge the person by looking...... thn i'll say WAH, u're good. Don't be so judgmental. Try to think in depth.... :)

i'm not riding a harley now, but when the time is right, i probably would.

i had my eye on the road king for a while, until i saw the road glide...

looking at the specs, it seems to be based on the king... would this be available in Singapore? :)

thanks

It is available already. just slightly different if we're not talking about the fairing, cos the fairing has got radio/cd/speakers/gauges....

Ride quality would be different with the fairing, less wind i guess...

you WILL get tempted. 2011 models are 103 cubic inches ~ 1690cc, oil cooler comes standard, ABS. All it needs is a lil change of exhaust to waken it up. BE Tempted haha :cheeky:

yeah dude...

bike prices in Malaysia are sky high, hence the popularity of kups for transport purposes only.

i was told that even my 10 year old R1200C could possibliy reach up to 100k Ringgit...

go figure haha

trust me when i said i have considered it... haha

even if i don't make the full 80-100K Ringgit... it's more than enough for a comfortable deposit for the Ultra CVO ;)
