sorry to spoilt the thread.. since this thread abt RVF, may i know where is RVF speedo cable..?

my speedo gone mad liao.. max is 70kph althou i travelling at about 110kph at expressways..

dude..ver easy to see one...one long thick black cable comes out from the bottom of yr Speedo....the thick thick one running onto the left side of yr fairing that one.

 

it leads all the way inside yr bike then to the rear wheel for speed sensing i think. not sure, but heard ppl say RVF speed sensing is at rear wheel one.

maybe Ken can confirm this.

Dun change just becoz of me. if most pple can make it on friday/saturday, then stay as that. but if they can make it on other days as well, then i dun mind it being changed.

fridays/saturdays i work evening to late, so wont have chance to meet up during those 2 days. other than those 2 days, should be free in the evenings n nites mostly. Maybe sunday? or thursday?

But as i said, dun change just to accomodate me.

yesterday went down to my bike..saw my canvas partially tie up..like someone open liao then hurriedly tie back for me.....i was so shocked...i think its the HDB parking warden that did this....

 

i went to unravel the canvas..everything checked out ok..then to my shock...i saw 2 deep long scratches on side of of front wheel fender!!!!!

 

nahbeh!!! i oso noticed from the sidestand, my bike shifted position!the sidestand was on the concrete slab when i left it but now it was on the grass!

 

i looked all around my bike in apanic.....doesnt seem like got drop. but who could have done this? if it is the parking warden..why the hell he wana shift my bike?

or could it be a cat?? or i think someone try to steal my bike but cannot move coz i locked the rear wheel.

 

im thinkin of complaining to the town council..see during that period of time got parkin wardens come around my block or not.

 

what u guys think? very heart pain now

I think it's more likely that someone tried to steal your bike... the parking warden wouldnt wanna shift your bike wat... Probably as you said, the thief wanted to move your bike but couldnt coz it was locked...in the process maybe he scratched your bike

but then i think it might be a cat..that wriggled its way into my canvas..thereby loosening the canvas knot i tied.....coz i looked at the scratch..like a cats claw just now....but only 2 lines leh.....there were some cat fur i saw just now upon close examnination too.

well.. maybe its realli a cat. cos if pple wanna steal ur bike, no rear wheel lock, but got handle lock they oso can do much.... n if realli pple wanna steal, aft all the effort, realise got lock, then wan to do some damage to ur bike to vent his/their anger, I think 2 fine scratch would not be enuff to them....got wad I mean??

 

BTW, aft my bike kena tow away & I thought kena steal by pple, I knew how it felt & bike security os essential here.... Would wan to install quality alarm to my bike. any1 interested??

As for the paintwork I post, I thought of sprayin the same but do some change to the colour scheme. The green change to striking pink, then the blue change to baby blue, and add alot of mugello flowers in blue & pink.

nah...my neighbour advised me to put moth balls on my bike before. it works! just that the day before my moth ball container drop off my bike and just one night without it, the cats come and ji siao siao.

 

so i went to NTUC boughht one big packet of mothballs, out 4-5 of them in a container and pu ton my seat and cover canvas. hehehe....so smelly they wont come liao.....even i oso scared the smell..yuck!! but what to do? this is the best solution..iz eaither this or smell cat urine/shit or see scratches on my bike.
