hi all

 

i need to buy the screw that secure suspension. Mine being change by LAB workshop when i went to fix box. Do any body know where to get one. please help so i can fix on the suspension protector. THANKS

Heard a set of Showa cost around 1k... how true is it?

 

Last time my shocks started to leak and I checked from my bike shop the price of new set of showa shocks and they oni quoted me $900 leh.....

 

But in the end got a pair of second hand showa from 1 guy who change his to biturbo

 

Next time get it serviced at Bike Lab.

Just a thought, wonder will engraving yr name and NRIC on the suspension help deter the thefts?

 

 

But yeah this is a big problem, and think using a bike alarm + suspension protectors are the best you can do at the moment...... unless somebody invents something new.

2nd hand shocks for under $250 ???

 

Sometimes very difficult to make ppl understand why it is much better to rebuild an old pair of suspensions rather than buy a new one or a 2nd hand one.

hey guys ask u ah...vtec stock suspension is red for all models rite? or some got black? coz mine is black it's a FS3*** plate....then today i went servicing...mech told mi my shocks damaged liao...say too soft...could it be when i bought from bike shop...they swapped from ver.s? wa lan repair one shocks damned ex leh...

for mi that's y my rear hugger keep knocking on my bottom when i cross small bumps...dammit...kana cheated again...

Vtec FR FS plater comes with black springs.

Vtec FT onwards comes with red springs.

 

Hear hugger bumping on undertail when crossing small bumps?

 

The clearance between the hugger and tail of the VTEC is pretty high. How would it hit your undertail.

 

Is your hugger mounted closely hugging to the tire or there's a significant gap? Any pictures?

u might wanna bring yr bike down to bikelab... dey have some good stuff for your shocks...

late FS also red springs... but some owners changed 2 black springs, like a silver FT9xxx vtec i viewed last time, that guy changed 2 black spring becos he dun like red~

red springs black springs all the same springs, it's the different color schemes of the bike hence the color. stock springs are way too soft.

your shocks are the vtec shocks, not ver s one. this mech anyhow say one, real cheat.

go to bikelab and stiffen up your rear suspension.

i think i kana chop by HKL this time coz my rear hugger doesn't fit exactly..think for another model one...coz he haven drill holes it it even...then got quite a gap...worse still it's bigger gap on one side n less on the other...later take pix then post lor...think it's hitting on the storage box there lor

The shock I brought is from a friend of mine.....follow him to change the shocks when he brought the Biturbo shocks......

 

Not all second hands stuffs are stolen wan leh...... still got ppl out there who are rich enough to buy aftermarket shocks than let these F*@kers pick it off their bikes
