Anyone got buy BT021 from ah boy? I hear they sell it at $290 front n rear... Dunno izzit true? oso dunno the qualify of the tyres reliable anot?

The problem with ah boy is the quality.. Small things buy from them still can.. Important stuff like tires better dun.. The installation might be bad and the tires maybe old (tat's my own experience). Might as well spend a bit more to get a pair of fresh tires and fixed at a reputable bike shop.. It's definitely worth the money..

guys i guess i need your help. my bike just under go a fire . my tires were still ok from the outlook. but there is some problem internally. Such i realised tht whenever i pump air at 290 i realised tht my air in the tire is real low. likie 100 plus.its actually losing air fast but no signs of holes. pls advice.

Big is certainly a warning but small can be downright scary! Never underestimate the effectiveness of small.

still got where selling bt021 at a good price with reasonable workmanship? my tyres botak already.. the dot inside the thread is flushed with the tyre.. argh..

if dun have might change to diablo HR.. any reviews?

U ride S4? I waiting for Jacq reply me this afternoon, maybe she manage to get BT021 from HKL at $300, but dunno included balancing anot?? She told me is stock 2008 tyres...and i feel HKL consider good reputation bikeshop bah...If you interested too, I let u noe agn after she reply me.

Diablo is good when it's warmed up. :thumb:

hm.. ok.. then comes the next impt thing.. does it have a fast warm up rate? haha.. i know i have alot of questions... but no laughing matter when it comes to tyres.. anyway thanks for your advise.. good wet weather tyres are impt to me..

roughly how long do they take to change, waiting time not included? need to change mine quite urgently.. anyway how's the tyres? good?

Not really long.... Roughly maybe half n hr.... Around there....

Cone bearing? Wat happen? Need to change is it?

 

My handle bar feel like unstable lidat, shaking....:confused: suspect is cone bearing broken.... :sian:

 

i will be going down tonight if i dun need to work OT.. rainy season.. dun want to take any risk esp when it comes to tyres and brakes..

Hi, I ve just changed both Spec III tires to Michelin Pilot - 160/60 ® & 120/60 (F). I believe I got great offer from both of these tires @ $260. I feel that most of the tires that within specification are ok.

Below is a copy of brochure2008 on Michelin tire. Cheers & happy riding!!

eh your attached picture says that michelin pilot road 2 is no.1 for both test... true not???

 

and also i read the brocher aixin attach and it says pilot road 2 is for sports touring! hmm... :dozed:

No idea how true there is..... even "aixin" found a similar website from Michelin oso mentioned their pilot road 2 is no.1 ..... :confused:....

 

But i found from the brocher aixin attached... the comparison is in 2006...and the tyres used is Michelin Pilot Road 2 120/70-17 180/55-17.....

yeah.. actually from that attachment, seems like bt021 is a good choice for tyres our size..
