Chicken strip see weather u play corner or not, the deeper the strip the more lean ur corner..

I agree that bt090 really fells sticky when cornering but mileage

wise, wear out very fast..

 

I skidded on my michelin pilot power, my tyres is about 6mths old.. Rd surface abit wet.. Lucky i managed to counter when cornering..

 

Another thing is it doesnt seem to have any chicken strip visible after all the cornering unlike the bt090..

 

I really have no squalms about bt090 only that its very sticky that it picks up everything on the rd. Haha

Wah ver s can use pp meh? Rear tire 160? Isnt it too big for ver s? The tire seems like touching chain guard rite?

Used the following tyres before...so i'll just give u all review on it..

 

Metzeler Sportec M1 : Overall rating [6/10]

 

very good mileage.. cant remember how many clicks the tyre last but it seems like the thread will nvr wear off..lol..

Not very good on wet weather...cornering not that syiok and theres no sticky feeling to the tyre.. few times i feel like my rear tyre skidded when cornering very low + fast.. But very worth the money.. Used it on Pasir Gudang... really2 not adviseable..no grip on corners.. engine break and it will fishtail... If u budget2 type and prefer a tyre that lasts really long.. go for it.

 

Bridgestone Battlax BT090 : Overall rating [9/10]

 

A tyre meant for corners.. really sticky and feel damn confident while cornering.. no problems on wet surface..once warmed up.. it literally picks up everything on the road surface..lol.. Didnt get a chance to try at Pasir Gudang but went up to Genting Highlands with it..went 180km/h at NSHW and feel really confident with it.. Mileage is bit dissapointing..wear out faster cos soft compound.. Really good for those corner siao.. not for frequent tourer.. its a tyre meant for tracks..

Bought and used today..sofar still getting use to the tyre... fells abit like Bridgestone

Bt090 when cornering..but not sticky enough... didnt literally pick everything up frm the road... havent tried on wet weather... will update bout this tyre when the time comes...

please state what u do with ur bike and what u wan with it..... please dun ask this kind of crap by asking cheap and sticky and yet long lasting....

 

 

cheap = nonsticky but lasting

sticky = expensive and non lasting

lasting = cheap and nonsticky

 

this is the basic.....

sticky = very exp... depend on compund on lasting...

lasting = can also be expensive because of touring tyre... it still sticky but need long time for tyre to warm up....

So far im happy with my michelin PP but would be happier in terms of confidence on wet and cornering if im using bt090 but my pocket not happy cos very fast wirn out.

 

Michelin PP doesnt wear out very fast. Just have to be xtra careful on wet surface.

your shortlisted 2 i would choose bt-023. should be better than bt-021. i used bt-021 before, lasting tyres, maybe not too much of the front but the rear. good if you are not using it for track.

both of the tyre haven wear to the extend to change . so i still not so clear . i use roughly 1 year plus

All my rear tyres wear off faster than the front. My 2 previous tyres only changed the rear and the front was changed much later when going botak
