Hi to all,

I have've really been riding long, but have been since introduced many times to "Wonderful" products... telling me that it's going to give me better mileage.

Take a minute to watch the following 2 clips, it does mention a particular product or two that is also been promoted in this very forum.

Hmmm... either Fifth Gear is pulling everyone's leg or ?????????.

Ha...ha...ha.. Placebo Effect! Nice terminology.

It's unknown to many when one purchase such "Gadgets" what they unknowingly becomes having lighter throttle response (as they have fitted a "Fuel Saving Gadget") which resulted in fuel saving in most cases.

A good test would be to remove these/the gadget without the knowledge of the vehicle owner and review from there after.

Well, since Fifth Gear Fuel Gadget went on line... I have yet to see any Lawsuits against them from the Companies that sells them.

Wouldn't you sue Fifth Gear Production if your "PRODUCT" have been miss-placed, embarrassed and falsely interpreted?

ha..ha.ha.ha..!!!!!

To Me....

I've tried fuel additive. Got some improvement initially, engine felt smoother and lighter, but once I stopped using it, the performance was worse then before I started using the additive. Like opium. after some time the improvement also dropped.

Also tried that thing you throw into the fuel tank and it's supposed to last like dunno how many thousand km. Also slight improvement initially but after some time also lose effectiveness.

Now I don't bother with all these fuel saving gadgets. I find the most effective way to save fuel is to maintain proper tyre pressure and avoid hard braking and acceleration.

Honda CG145, Honda CB150R ExMotion. And a few others in between...

I think most popular thing here now is Broquet...

Seems like every1 gets some fuel saving, myself also,i calculated mileage on my bike for gave ard 28-30km/L(Before)

Added Broquet and again calculated for few full tanks and consistently got ard 33-35km/L

Same Petrol & same riding style and same riding route.

Just to test, bought one more since they offer money back gurantee.

Tied a fishing line to it and dropped into my dad scooter w/o telling him.

After a 3 days of him riding,i just asked him how the ride was,he claimed it felt smooth.

FC wise not sure cus he never keep record.

Thus just let the broquet remain in his bike till now.

As for me now changed to sym gts 200,currently FC w/o anything is 27-28km/l.

might get a broquet and try and Update on it if has effect...

some bikers claim,Petronas N BNP giving more mileage.

Currently,i just maintain tyre pressure every 2 weeks

And Gentle riding.
